shushopn, I was totally kidding about the calluses

I'm sore today from spinning yesterday. But typically after a few classes, the pain ceases.

Hee hee! I figured you were but some people might actually think I have a huge callus where my crotch was from spinning!!

I know a few people who love there gel seats but 1 person said they tend to feel like they slip a little on the seat while their riding. They also sell those padded bike shorts but my a** is big enough. I prefer the pain.

I tried 2 times. My rear end hurt like there was no tomorrow each time. I have to build up courage to go back. That usually takes about a year.

One of the trainers at the gym said it is really good though and it really defines your legs. Who doesn't like nice legs!!!

Today I attended my 3rd spinning class. I love it! I burn about 600 calories for each 60 min class. The first class, my bum was in pain for 2 days. I bought a gel seat for the next class, but I wasn' that impressed - it did help some. This week, I wore my new Pearl Izumi bike shorts. I felt like I could ride for hours! They're even on sale at REI right now. Since it is a morning class, I only drink water and don't eat before class. I ate breakfast before class one time, and I thought I was going to hurl. My instructor recommended drinking water and at most maybe a banana.
