Default Running: Does anyone use a mini trampolin?

I plan to start running and as such some advertisement about running on a mini trampolin caught my attention. It's stated that running on a mini trampolin is better for the joints and also more effective than on a treadmill. Does anyone have some experience? Is it really a better alternative? Thanks for all input.

I don't know either^ but anything is better surface wise than concrete. I run on a surface that is padded. Also, if you are concerned about the treadmill, you can adjust the weight to much less than what you weigh.

I don't know about running but I know there are classes at my gym that do exercises on them. It is called rebounding. Supposedly it helps you tone better and has some great benefits (i am not too sure what). It looks interesting though. My friend says they are awesome, she really enjoyed the class and recommends it.
