Default Power Walking

I don't know if this has been asked before and if the mods want to merge the threads together please guide me.

I need to know, how soon after you eat your last meal is it okay to go for a power walk/jogging? I had a light dinner Chicken and salad. But my DH is telling me it's too late to go walking and that I can't walk after I eat. But I had such a light dinner,.... lunch,.....breakfast,... that I think it's okay to walk/run.

I'm so confused!

Please help!

I could be wrong, but I think that "don't swim/exercise after you eat" went out with the Cadillac with the tail fin. I think a walk after a light mean is great.
