Default Possible to delay period?

I'm going on vacation this Friday. I had planned to start my period last Friday, but it did not come so it will probably come some time this week, hopefully after my weekend getaway.

I'm haven't taken birth control pills in the last 2 months, but I do have a spare pack and I also have Plan B on hand. Is there anything I can do to delay my period so I don't start it while I'm at the beach? Or is it useless at this point? I'm freaking desperate!

I tried delaying my period (actually, skipping it!) by taking my BCP continuously...Not only did it not work, my period lasted for freaking EVER!!!!

When I went on holiday last year I went to the doctor & he prescribed me some pills. You had to take one two days before you were due on or something & you had to take three a day which was pretty annoying.. but better than being on whilst on holiday! Then when you get home stop taking them & you should come on within a few days. I came on within like 2/3 days & didn't last any longer than usual!

I can't remember the name of the pill though sorry.

Omgblonde, did you go to a regular doctor or a gyno to get the pills?

Me too. I am not on BC now, but if I ever go back on the pill, I will never ever do that again!
