Hmm... So no period since 6-18th? Id take a test just in case... (no need to alarm you).. and if all is clear.. I'd put the ring in this Sunday... and no deed for at least 1.5 - 2 weeks.

I'm on the nuvaring too. I leave mine in for 4 weeks so I don't get a period. You should be fine but I would just call a nurse at your doctors office and ask when you can stick the next one in.

you left it in how many weeks too long? I would def take a test to make sure, and probably if it were me since I'm not active atm would leave it out for a week and then replace and start over (and use protection until I had the ring in for a week)

i was told by my doc that you can leave it in for 3 wks and out for 1wk. or leave it in for 4 wks and take it out for 3 days. so i did the 4 wks. i liked the nuvaring...but the hormones really messed me up. :[[

I leave mine in for 3 weeks and then switch to a new one. You can use one ring for 4 weeks but (and my doc just reconfirmed this last Thursday) the 4th week it's ineffective, so you'll most likely get a period just as you would if you took it out.

I'd take a test if you've had sex during the last ring cycle and then just pick a Sunday and start with the new one!

So, you don't get a period at all?

Sorry, I'm thinking about starting the NuvaRing... could you explain what you meant by the hormones messing you up?

TIA!

Ya. I just leave it in for 4 weeks. Then once a month I just switch it out for the new one. I love it. I would always forget to take my pill so that was never a good option for me but this is so easy to remember just once a month. I have had a few problems with spotting but it was so minor it didn't really bother me at all and it hasn't happened in about 3 months. I would def recommend it.
