Nooch--if you're feeling bloated, munch on cucumber or cataloupe when you need a veggie or fruit fix. Natural at de-bloating.
I got it from "Naturally Thin," which had some great food choice advice I've been following lately. Keep up the inspiring work!!!!! |

Thanks for the advice! I am not a huge cantaloupe fan but cucumbers are great and you get to feel like you're crunching something!
Haircut went GREAT! I am so happy

Melons are very high on the glycemic index and are like eating sugar water. I stay away from them.

I made a major change. When we got engaged I started growing my hair out and I haven't colored it in about 3 years. It was down to my bra strap and now it's an A line bob with dyed black with red shimmer and fushia highlights. :)

Thanks! It's amazing how different I feel with such a small change! I kind of feel like I look less fat, too, but that might be all in my head.
So I mentioned that I can wear the size 20 jeans from the gap as of a couple of weeks ago, but what I did not mention is that I have a pair of Old Navy jeans (also in size 20) that I could not wear because why would sizes be standardized anyway? How silly. Anyway. I decided that now that I'm down to 285 which was the upper limits of size 20 for me last time, I should try on the Old Navy jeans again. SCORE! I can wear them! And I still have one pair of 22s that fit, leaving with me FOUR pairs of jeans that fit! (This is four more pairs than I have had in awhile.) Next good coupon I get I am gonna buy a pair of 18s to start trying on. Also, stupid question - where else can I shop once I hit 18 comfortably? I have not been there in so long that I don't know anywhere to shop except torrid/LB/avenue/gap/ON. Do any other stores carry 18s? I feel so silly but I don't even know where people in their 20s looking for jeans and t shirts and other cute casual things shop! |

I love the Michael by Michael Kors line - they have a lot of really cute tops and some comfy jeans.
I also like NYDJ (Not Your Daughters Jeans) - they are fun embroidered jeans in a variety of materials - and they look good on someone with a round backside! Lauren by Ralph Lauren makes some fun outfits - they might be a little older than you want to look, however. Calvin Klein now makes size 20-24w. There are some really pretty dresses. All of these are available at Macy's and Nordstroms! |

Weigh in day!
284.2 today! Yay! I completely forgot what I weighed last week and was initially bummed but when I went to enter it I realized that I was down 1.4 this week even with all the salt so I am perfectly cool with that! I usually eat pretty much zero salt - I don't cook with salt really, I don't add salt to things, I don't even like salt (except on tomatoes). So my body is like WHAT IS THIS SALT?!?!? But yeah, looking like I will be able to get under 280 (and by under 280 I mean 279.9, cheap or not I will take it!) by the time I leave for NY! And I absolutely DO NOT plan on gaining in NY - I only gained a drop in Florida and I ate like absolute crap - if I am careful in NY I should be fine! |
