Nooch, we already knew you were beautiful on the inside, and now we have the evidence to prove that you're beautful on the outside too, regardless of the number on the scale!!!

We are all here for you. No one would ever treat you poorly, for any reason, here!

Nooch, I've read many of your posts on the "Get me to the gym" thread . . . I just want you to know that I think you are beautiful, both inside and out! I wish you well!

We're all really proud of you for doing this Nooch :) I lost 50lbs a few years ago-and it was one of the toughest things I did-but once you get into a new routine, it becomes a lot easier!
Congrats for having the confidence to tell us your weight. I still hate telling people how much I used to weigh.

Nooch-You are a beautiful girl. I know EACTLY how you feel. I am really touched by your thread as it hit home with me. I'm a shy person so it's hard for me to be so open as you have. Please know that you are not alone, there are alot of us just like you out there. It won't be easy but you can do it. I have been "dieting" since January. Everyday is a struggle but it does get easier once you set your mind to it. I'm determined to lose this weight for the same reasons. I'm not married nor do I have a boyfriend but if I did I would want him to pick me up. I will be following your thread closely. Best of luck to you.

You know, I read this thread three times last night just taking it all in and I appreciate all the love SO MUCH.

My next step - and a step that I would like to see the entire world take - is to not be afraid of weight, afraid of the numbers. One of the things I hear on occasion is that I don't "look my weight", probably because I am so tall. But... it's my weight, so of course I look it. Because that's what it looks like on me. Does that make sense? I am not sure.

People have these preconceived notions of what numbers/number ranges look like and they have little to no bearing on reality. I am willing to bet that most people cannot accurately guess others' weights because of these perceptions. I want to live in a world where people (including me) don't lie about their weights on their driver's licenses (mine says 290 - at such a high weight you can fudge 30ish pounds and no one will know because most peoples' mental image of a 300 pound woman is the headless fat person on the news who can't get out of a chair and that is not always the case) and in a world where people don't get to be 23 not understanding anything more complicated than the concept of calories in and calories out.

I guess I'm constructing a soapbox here but the point is, I finally feel like I am not lying to you guys. I don't have many friends IRL so I don't like the feeling that I am lying to the ones I do have.

I peeked again today at the scale and I am pretty excited for Sunday's weigh in.

No matter what you weight you've always been beautiful inside and out, Nooch. The thought of "less Nooch" is not easy to accept. But let's hope it means more health, more vitality, more spunk, and in the end translates to "more Nooch." My hopes and prayers are with you.
