here's a before and after pic of me. http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-...22301931_n.jpg the results are mininal, but there is a change and thats all that matters! good luck to everyone! if i can do it, each of you can too!
That's not minimal........ well done! What you're doing is definitely working for you.

thank you so much! i guess it's true what they say, "we are our own worst critic."

i see myself everyday so it hard to see the changes, but i can see it in the picture and my clothes.

thanks again amaka, that means alot.

My own problem is bread. I want to quit eating bread.
Do I hear you or what! I love bread too. Oh man. Especially warm, freshly-baked ones that you get when you go to a restaurant and they slide that nice basket right in front of you. Then I gorge on it and kill myself when the entree eventually comes. Big absolute no-no!

Checking in....How is everyone doing? I'm having a good day myself. Ran 4 miles this morning. I decided I'm going to go back to using a Half marathon training schedule to keep me motivated to put in my miles...... I plan to weigh myself at the end of next week to see if the scales budged..... Today I ate good so far:

B: 1 boiled egg and an apple
L: Sushi

I'm going to have a protein shake for a snack later and Chicken soup for dinner.....

Hope everyone is having a great day......

I lost 15 lbs with that app in 2010 (had a 9 month old then). I now have my 2 year old and 10 month old.. I know how hard it is to lose weight with a little one. Lose It! inspired me by also helping me calculate calories I burned doing things around the house.. 30 cals for vacuuming, etc. Little things like that help me stay motivated.

So I'm in! I'm going to start using the app again, too.

I'm embarrassed to report that I didn't do well last week. Overall, I'm only down .6 so I will need to get focused and stay on track this week.

The weekend ruined all my hard work. I don't know how to not cheat on the weekends.

I like the ones posted and I also sometimes have a small bowl of dark chocolate gellato mixed with almonds. A little bit of a good rich dessert keeps me from snacking on more junk.

I would add celery as something quite filling that I munch on sometimes before making dinner. And this may sound weird but mineral water is sort of a 'snack' for me lol.
