Can you try to put the food into an online or phone app calorie tracker? I'm using lose it on my iPhone. I have read that eating small meals more often is best but it won't work for my lifestyle.

This morning I had pineapple juice and a small crossaint.

Lunch : lentils

Dinner: pasta salad

Snack: yogurt bar - be good to yourself range
How about protein and complex carbs for breakfast? I can't skip breakfast or have something sugary without overeating at lunch.

Great idea.. thanks! I don't have the IPhone so I'll check online... I need to know how many calories it all adds up to instead of my guestimates

Yay so I'm down by 1.2 lbs as of this morning! Now just to maintain over the weekend or maybe even lose a little. I have a dinner party on Sunday and my goal was to hit a new low weight and if I can maintain I have!!

Today I ate really well, so far LOL!

B- oatmeal and a latte with no sugar!

L- hummus and chips

D- sushi and a frozen margarita

I just wasn't that hungry at lunch but just had quite a bit of sushi - yum. I still need to work out more but I did walk home from work tonight so that is at least 20 minutes.

Great! Maui sound fabulous and I bet you can eat really healthy there because of the fresh seafood. Also when I'm outside in the sun alot I tend to eat lighter from the warmth and exercise.

I would love to join this thread! I have 5 more pounds to lose before I reach my goal weight and I know that the last 5 pounds are the hardest. A normal day for me as far as meals is usually -

Breakfast: Omelette with 2 egg whites and 1 whole egg (or sometimes an egg white omelette) with spinach + a slice and a half of turkey bacon

Snack: Light string cheese

Lunch: Amy's frozen meal or a kid's meal from chick fil a

Snack: Gala apple

Dinner: Small salad with a teaspoon of light caesar dressing and a small amount of avocado + baked chicken with whole wheat bowtie pasta and broccoli

OR a Small salad with a teaspoon of light caesar dressing and a small amount of avocado + salmon + broccoli with a wedge of laughing cow cheese

After Dinner Snack: Fat-free Greek yogurt with a teaspoon of almond butter mixed in

I don't eat like this 7 days a week though ~ I do go out to dinner with friends sometimes and make allowances for the weekend. I lost 20 pounds a couple of years ago, but was WAY too regimented with myself. This time around I am still losing weight but being more realistic about this being a lifestyle.

Can I join? I am between 147-150 right now and my goal is 135. I would like to lose 4-5 lbs by the 4th. I lost almost 40 lbs in 2009 but 10ish has crept back on. I want my clothes to fit again!

I am also between 147 and 150 and my goal is 138. I just got a Fitbit a week ago and I actually feel guilty when I don't accumulate steps. This week I did 15,000 in a single day and have done between 13,000 and 14,500 the other days. It also has an iPhone app that tracks everything, then syncs to my computer.

Count me in!

Awwww...thanks. Today was definitely a better day. It was hard but I managed to get out for my morning run... why is is so hard to get back into an exercise routine after a break..It was only for a week. But I was disappointed that even with a week's break after a half marathon that I was winded after 3 miles :(

All the same, I ate so much better so I'm not complaining... Like you said " its a brand new day tomorrow...

Hope everyone had a good day today....
