Wow May you are super dedicated. Before my wedding I was too. We have a trip to Florida in February and I might need to wear a swim suit! Yikes I better get motivated.

I'm Elizabeth, 5'5 and 128 pounds. My goal weight is 115. I want to do it gradually and healthily.

I actually live in Italy because I go to uni there. I'm home for summer hols, and after just a few days, I've concluded that Singapore is terrible for the figure. It's so hot, I really don't feel like moving about, and there aren't a lot of healthy choices for vegetarians. In Italy, I cook all my own meals, and I eat a lot of lentils, quinoa, other whole protein and whole grains and yummy mediterranean salads. I almost always cook western meals, and use a lot of different types of vegetables. But in Singapore, I eat a lot of rice and noodles and also vile, gorgeous foods like prata and curries and carrot cake D: Also, the helper cooks at home so I'm not in charge of what I put into my body like I am when I do my own cooking.

So starting tomorrow, I'm going to start cooking for myself again. Also, I've signed up for aerobics and yoga-pilates classes, to make up for not walking as much here.

I really don't even know if I'm capable of losing weight, to be honest. I've vacillated between 123 and 129 pounds for about three-four years (So I'm now on the super high end of the spectrum!). I don't even know what I'll look like as a 115. I don't think I've been that small at this height before.

So anyway, apologies for the ridiculously verbose post. I wouldn't take offense if no one finished reading it!

Hello
I'm 38, 5'6" and started off earlier this year at 173, I'm at 160 now and want to lose another 10 before the end of this year.

I'm a slow burn kinda girl. Been lifting, swimming, eating better and trying to walk/run when my back lets me. I try to do some physical exercise 4 days a week. Have bad back problems which limit me quite a bit but doing good so far.

Since my time frame to lose was so long, and I'm still actively committed, I'm pretty confident I'll reach my goal of 145-150. I'd be happy to maintain there.

Hello
Oops, I'm new here and think I did something wrong

Is there an introduction board?

Welcome! Your goals sound great. I need to refocus. Weekends are the worst for me and I am up a pound.

Ok, so 4th of July BBQ was total diet devastation! Two cheeseburgers, potato salad, pasta salad, chips and salsa, baked beans, soda, then strawberry shortcake for dessert! I'll have to run a ton of miles tomorrow!

Down another pound. 1 more to go till Saturday's wedding. But I'm happy with where I'm at. I just want to keep at the toning exercises. Today is my fiance's 30th birthday so I baked him a carrot cake and ordered a fruit tart. We are serving a huge salad, lots of fruit, and some other foods that I will not touch at all haha.

I decided to start fresh after a disappointing weigh in- 150.8! Yikes. My first goal is 145. I am purchasing a small reward when I get there. Stayed around 1400 cals today.

Ate a lot today at my fiance's birthday dinner. I did have a slice of my homemade carrot cake and a fruit tart with vanilla custard. Oops. But it's okay. Tomorrow I'm going back to strict no-carbs and have lots of veggies and lean protein. Woot!

I haven't stepped on the scale for a few days. Not sure if I want to either. I have been trying to eat more red meat the last few days to see if I feel any better when I do. I'm not much of a meat eater so this is kind of hard.
