Default Jorge Cruise ~ 3 Hour Diet

Anyone try this? It is hard to do, but I did notice a bunch of hard to loose weight come off, even on my hard to lose belly. How else can I lose that pouch that I hate so much.

He is the aol fitness guru. The book is awesome. I tried it and I really lost a bunch of weight. The theory is if you eat every three hours your body eventually gets used to food being consumed on schedule and your blood sugar is manintained hense your body giving up the fat. Now ladies don't get too excited, as the amount of food you actually eat is not that much. The books says that you are to eat a certain amount of calories depending on your body weight. For me it was between 300-400 calories for my meals, and 100 calories for my snacks. It was hard, but I did it for a time, and I lost some weight.

^It does work. Eating smaller meals speeds up your metabolism and if you do it properly, shed a lot of weight. My dh lost over 50lbs. He did light jogging but mainly switched from 2-3 meals a day to 6 smaller portions. If anyone is interesting in weight loss or other health related q's, feel free to pm me. I'm doing extensive studies and papers on this very subject. I also work closely with a nutritionist and a dietician. It's too bad that they don't aim for more education in the school systems regarding nutrition.

I am currently going to try this up again. I only want to loose maybe 10 pounds. But when I did this last year, it was unbelivable. It works.

Jorge Cruise is a sweet guy who is a very good fitness instructor.

He is NOT an authority on diet. His suggestions might work for some people but there is absolutely no way they will work for everyone, every time.

We need to get away from the notion of "one-size-fits-all" diets. We are all biologically different. The only way to find out what works best for you is to experiment with your diet, keep a food diary, take notes, observe what works for you and what doesn't. Nobody else can tell you that, not Jorge Cruise, not anyone. It's up to each of us to find out for ourselves.

Jorge is also the author of the "8 minutes in the morning" exercise ideas... I think they sell the index card version of it at Barnes and Noble.
