The side effects sound awful! Also, I was reading that if you eat a low-fat diet, it won't help that much - not much fat to block. Now, when they invent one that blocks some carbs...

Looks like I'll have to stick with fewer calories and more exercise for now.

I probably will. I have a lot of weight to lose, so for me I don't see it as a "diet" but an aid that will help me in my efforts to make healthly choices all the time (as opposed to just a few weeks in order to lose a few pounds). 2-3 months is probably the maximium amount of time I'll use it.

Old habits are hard to break, but this looks like something that will help.
