Im scared about swelling on head?!?!?

Thursday night I went to bed. I was laying there when I felt a lot of pain on the right side of the back of my head. I put my hand back there to feel it and it was swollen and there was a lump. I jumped up and had a friend look at it and they said it was deff swollen.

I put ice on it and went to bed and the next morning the swelling went down. It still feels like there is a little swelling there. and it's tender to the touch.

My biggest fear is brain anyurism but they can only be inside the brain right? Would they cause your head to swell? Does anyone know?!!? Im freaking out! Im praying it was just a bug bite!

A brain aneurysm would not cause a lump you can feel on the back of your head.

You probably bumped your head without realizing it when you were sleeping.

It's probably a lymph node. If you are fighting a cold, it very well may swollen to fight off the infection. Just have it looked at to ease your comfort.
