i've used hoodia pills before. they do make you feel full and eat less...i can see how it'd be helpful in that first week or so of a diet when you're just SO hungry. but once you stop taking them you're hungry again...it gets expensive.
Nope, it was Leslie Stahl on 60 minutes. She ate a piece of Hoodia that was maybe the size of a human thumb and she wasn't hungry or jittery all day.

Wild Musings: Hoodia is not a chemical. It's a plant that grows in nature and has been used safely by tribes in Africa to sustain them without having to eat on long treks. Of course, "natural" doesn't always equal "good for you" but this stuff has been used forever out there.

Most Hoodia sold in the US is crap. It's either fake or the amount of Hoodia is so tiny that other more harmful stimulants make up the bulk of the active ingredients. The 60 Minutes piece discussed how Hoodia is very, very difficult to cultivate.

Btw, they are $40-$50 at drug stores, but i have seen them on eBay for $10-$15.

...if anyone is curious, i am new to the forum but am a regular on other fashion forums
That's the brand I take, too. They are great.
