yea.... i didn't walk lol it wasn't as nice out as i thought. and then as I was driving home I was like "oh i'm just going to do it" but yet... out of habit I put my vehicle in the garage (i have a detached garage) and i was getting ready to change and i thought "darn it! i already put my truck away!" so i took that as a hint that i should not go lol
i'm just really hoping i can get myself in gear once i get a treadmill. which is hopefully only a couple weeks away!

I haven't been eatting real well either lately, it's so tough! although this morning i had some scrambled eggs and 60 calorie yogurt so i think that's a good start to the day. for lunch is soup!

Sorry I have not been around guys, my computer crashed and just got it back late monday with new hard drive etc. Also Buddy, my dog, has been in hospital with a spinal injury, but he is out now and on the mend.

My diet has been all over the place, so I need to concentrate and get myself back into it.

Oh, and I also moved over the weekend, just to add some more stress - forgot about that. I was so sore and exhausted yesterday.

So will weigh myself sunday and am dreading the result!!

I am so proud of all of you! Losing weight isn't easy, and it takes a strong person to take that first step. I lost 90 lbs back in high school from just dieting and exercise, no pills or gimmicks. It is possible!!! :)

My recommendations based on experience:
I find that cutting calories is a very effective way to lose weight. Take your weight and multiply that by 11-- that's how many calories your body needs in a day to basically keep you alive. If you consume less than that, or come out at a deficit, your body will start burning fat, THUS.. weight loss. The healthy rate of weight loss is 1 pound per week. If you figure a pound is about 3500 calories, that is totally possible. You should never EVER go under 1200 calories in a day though, this can shock your body into starvation mode, making weight loss much more difficult.

Keep a food diary! I really like Medhelp.org, you can track your exercise, food, even your mood. I really love that website.

ps- I am trying to lose weight again, about 30 pounds. Twin pregnancy doesn't do "wonderful" things to one's physique...

Thanks for the advice and support Amarantoskm,

Well I ate healthily yesterday, but need to do more exercise, so hopefully pilates and a walk today, and to remain healthy in my eating.

It is sooo hard to remain focused and patient, as this is soooo slow and frustrating, and I feel like I am having no results, but I know it is up to me and what goes in my mouth and how I exercise, so here is to ticking off another healthy day.
