Just do heavy weight (4-6 reps) leg presses or squats (although squats are less forgiving due to proper form) and eat more protein.

Ballet-based workouts and Pilates will build calf and thigh muscles, similar results with doing squats and leg presses. Also walking/running up hills builds calf muscles. I think she has great legs too!

Thanks!

Hmm, uphill cardio may seem like a good idea, too. Thanks, everyone! I'll give that a shot. I fell off the wagon from going to the gym about 2 months ago, so I'm hoping to get back on and come out like this LOL.

Oh yes, ballet/pilates.. I didn't think of that, either! Thanks for all the ideas. Now I can shake it up a bit. I hate doing the same stuff all the time, so these all help.

I would think running stairs would be a better option than hills. Do you have a 5 or 6 story parking garage in the area? That's what I use when I feel like torturing myself. :)

My gym has stair climber machines, and where I work... I climb MANY stairs, lol.

Jeneen-- I know, she has some amazing legs. I don't think I have the same structure as her, but it doesn't hurt to try!

^ I was watching her on the hills last night and it looks like she works out for her body and doesn't starve herself - nice to see.

If you already climb stairs a lot, then perhaps heavy weight leg presses would be the next step.

They have these crazy stair machines at my gym- like actual stairs, but rotating. It was kind of fun to try! And I did some heavy lifting today and all kinds of squats so I'm going to be wiped out tomorrow.

I agree.
My first thought..PILATES, with
squats and lunges thrown in..
She has awesome legs. I don't think they're
thick at all..they're perfect.

And wearing heels makes a BIG difference...

I'm not sure to what extent that just running would help aside from burning fat, because running does not increase muscle mass. It would definitely be weights in this case.
The running will give you definition - I have muscular legs and I run and bike and lift lots of weights... lots of em... not until i started to really run did i get the definition up the side of my leg/thigh and not until more biking did i get the definition on the inside of the thigh... good luck!

That's what I was thinking. Heaviest you can manage.
