I know that many people are opposed to hcg but it works for me and I support everyone who is making a go at getting healthier. It's way worse to be fat. I appreciate the support. I was a size 14. Now I'm a size 6/8. It's fabulous. I know size is not the main aspect of weight, but I feel more empowered to make healthier choices when I feel I look my best. When I was a slob (as I saw myself) there was really point in not eating the cheeseburger.

I get that. I'm glad your health is monitored (not sure how a chiro has expertise in metabolic and other bodily systems, aside from the muscular/skeletal system, but OK), but you're one person.. And no offense, but when the FDA is saying HCG isn't recommended, I'm going to go with them over your 2 or 3 medical friends. Just curious, did you measure your muscle mass before HCG and measure after?
That's the point you seem to miss. Just cause you're doing OK now, doesn't mean the majority will do well with this, or that you won't have complications down the road. That's what I've been trying to say. I'm also trying to say that losing 2-3 lbs a week is also attainable by eating a more realistic diet and adding in some physical activity, which is MUCH healthier than eating 500-700 cals a day for a long period of time.
Most of my posts have never been directed to one person in this thread. They're directed to the people who might try this diet. To those people, talk to a physician that deals with weight loss, and if he recommends you do this, go for it. Or, talk to me and I can recommend a lifestyle that will give you similar results.
