Sorry I never responded to your PM - it came through when I was on a plane to Oregon. I feel like I have still have recovered from the red eye and the jet lag. We stopped hcg before the trip. I have turned my attention to maintenance and running. So far so good - I ran 5 miles tonight in preparation for an extreme 5K that I am running next weekend. I also ran a race right before Oregon. I am joining Crossfit after memorial day.

It sounds like you are doing great!!!

How is everyone doing? I am going to start another round this weekend. I'm really dreading the loading phase. I have no interest in high calorie food because of hcg. But it' a necessary evil so I am going to make the best of it and go out with friends and eat, drink and be merry!

I want to lose another 15 pounds. I have been running and loving it but I am going to start a really intense project at work that will last about 6 weeks. So the timing is perfect. I wanted to do my next round after the 4th of July, but it is what it is! It looks like work will consume all of my time so the hcg keeps me from even thinking about food. Likewise, I won't have time to run besides a quick 2-3 miles, which is prefect for hcg and June in North Carolina when it is hot, hot, hot.

Hi,

It's been quite a while since I've posted. I'm about to start a second round, this coming Monday.

I really need to motivate myself for this round.

I starting loading on Saturday. I hope to do it for six weeks again.

I have done really well maintaining. I am actually at my exact LDW, currently.

I hope to lose 20, but I will be happy with 15 gone.

Have heard the second round losses are a lot slower.

Today is VLCD 1 of round 2. I lost 20 pounds my first round, that was six weeks and maintained the loss with no problem.

Now I hope to lose more, I don't really have a set goal, but 15 lbs. would be nice. I plan to do a 40 day round like last time hopefully.

I gained 2 lbs loading, so not too bad.

I made it through VLCD 1. I was very hungry, and had a headache, which was very similar to round one.

Well, I stayed the same. Feeling good today though. I'm hoping for a good release tomorrow.

VLCD 3 today. I did have a release, but it was a small one, 1.2 lbs. I will take it, better than staying the same. I was hoping to do better by now. Usually, the losses are much better early on. I have a headache today too.

Today is VLCD 4 of Round two and things are not going that great.

I have heard the second round can be a lot slower but this is really slow.

So far I have lost only 1.2 lbs. Not sure why the slow losses, I am following the protocol. The only thing different I am trying, and I just started this late yesterday is fat free half and half instead of the 1 T milk. I have heard a lot of people do well with this in their coffee.

Well, just keep on keeping on and hope for some good releases soon.

VLCD 5 today. I had a 1.4 pound release today. So far my losses are 2.6 pounds. This is a slow beginning, but I didn't lose as much as some people do my first round, but I'll take what I can get.

It's a lot better than staying the same, gaining, or doing some other program where it takes forever to lose the weight. My hunger has subsided which is good.

Just wanted to say hello - you are doing great - hang in there. I actually waited on my next round - starting over the fourth of July.
