Thumbs down Has anyone tried Head-On?

If applied directly to the forehead, does it actually relieve headaches?

Do advise.

Yeah but Vicks Vaporub does the same thing.

Those commercial are hilarious!!!! Esp when you're at the gym and there's not sound. You just see the lady putting that thing on her forehead.

My friend's tried activ-on and she said it totally works!

I think it's a mental thing. I know people who swear by the stuff, but I don't think it technically "relieves" pain, it just makes you focus on the tingling of your forehead and you kinda forget about the headache.

Oh yeah, I use it occasionally if I have a minor headache. For the really big headaches, I buy the cold pads that actually adhere to my forhead. Those things ar the best. Totally help relieve the pain.

it doesn't really work. its just a numbing agent that's put on your forehead. it doesnt make the headache really go away

Why did you choose a thumbs down icon for this thread?
Have you tried it yourself to say its not a great product? I assume not since you are asking us for our opinionss on it.

Normally people choose the thumbs down icon to make a statement about something. In this case you are asking what we think of a certain product, so this thumbs down is kind of not fitting for this thread. I was expecting to read a personal bad experience when opening this thread.

I personally won't try it because I'm afraid I'll get a pimple from it. LOL.

this stuff is junk. it's slimy, the scent would probably give you a worse headache, and it's like putting gel deodorant on your forehead. yuck. if you have a headache, find the problem (stress, hunger, migraine) and take a couple of Excedrin. or sleep.
