In any case, see your doctor if you are unhappy.

I agree with this as well. I'm a natural D and it drives me nuts because nothing fits and I look bigger than I really am because all of my tops hang out at the stomach because I have to buy them big to fit up top. But anyway, I would talk to your PS again or get another opinion.

he never let me try on implants, i told him i wanted them big but not gigantic..basically i wanted an hour glass shape..but what i got is still straight and small on the top just very perky and round...my boobs were stretched WAY bigger than this when i was breastfeeding...so i dot understand, i had my SO call and the doctor was being a d!ckhead since its done and over and paid for already..but we are going back on July 14th and we'll take it from there I guess..its just depressing that i should be happy right now that my boobs arent saggy but the fact i spent 7600 and didnt get what i really wanted is overtaking my happiness..

One thing to think about is that you'll probably want a lift after you have more kids (if you're planning to), and you could get them then.

That being said, if you're unhappy, I think you should get them redone. I don't think D is too big if that's what you want (and you know how they'll look on you since you've experienced it before). Be clear this time about how big you want to go (while many go by cup size/example pictures and leave the rest up to their surgeon, I think a lot of people figure out the exact ccs they want with their dr beforehand).

I also think it's super common for women to wish they'd gone a cup size bigger afterwards. I had a friend who had hers redone a couple of years after to get them bigger.

Anyway, he should comp at least a chunk of it, and I really don't think a revision would cost anywhere near the $7600 you initially paid (did you get a lift the first time?).

It is really hard for a plastic surgeon to know what the outcome is going to be in terms of bra size. It really depends on the width of your chest, your breast plate, how large you were to begin with, how much skin you have... it's different for every person. Also, the surgeon may not be able to tell what size implant your body can hold until he actually cuts you open.

In my case, my surgeon thought I should have gone larger than the size I picked. I am 5'10" and when I got them I weighed 125 lbs. I started out as a 34AA- literally flat as a board! I got 360cc filled to 390cc. I was aiming for a nice C cup, and my doc said that size implant would give me a B cup and tried to talk me into getting a bigger size because he was afraid I would not be happy. I went with my gut and insisted on the smaller size and I'm so glad I did because I am a 34D! If I had gotten what my surgeon suggested, I would have been too big and unhappy with them.

I think in your case, your doctor probably underestimated what your size would end up. Perhaps you can talk to him about getting a redo and see if he will offer you a discount?

As many implant forums as I visited before and after my BA, I never ran across anyone who said their implants were too big. It's like diamonds - shrinkage always seems to set in.

I can relate to this. I had mine done twice for this very reason. I initially went with an all too sensible 350 (left) 375 (right) since mine were slightly asymmetrical. They turned out fine but I thought they were too small. I went with 500 (I think) or maybe 550 (I had them done about 5 years ago when I was 24-25 and I don't remember the exact number of cc's). Both times they were silicone not saline and placed in front of the muscle. I have NEVER regretted going bigger; NOT ONCE! If anything, I regret not going this big the first time around.

Well I think it's sad that it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to. But I would probably be happy with any size over B as long as they are firm and round :)

I do think a big D kinda shoots out a pornstar warning. Especialy if your skinny and not very tall.Just my opinion. I think a full C would be perfect since that is the average of women. GL! I hope they turn out the way you want them to.

90% of the women who have breat augmentation wish they had gone larger. However, one thing you have to keep in mind when your implants are under the muscle is that they're sort of "compacted" under there and when they drop they will drop forward and they will appear larger. I would wait at least 6 months before doing anything.

Very true. I had quite a bit of swelling above my implants for a couple of months too. By the time that went away and they "dropped" into place, they were perfect. I'm a stomach sleeper, so I think that helped massage them into place too. (I couldn't sleep on my tummy for about 3 weeks post-op).

I have mine under the muscle and where there were at three months is WAY different from one year out (where I am now). While they are actually smaller than they were when I was just out (due to swelling) the muscle has stretched and they have 'settled' or 'dropped' and now look bigger. I wished I had gone bigger at first but I am very, very glad now that I did not, because I border on too big for my frame at a full C and five-foot-two.
