I just lost 12 pounds over the last ten weeks and I'd like to lose another five pounds or so. However, at this point, my real goal is to lose 5% of my body fat. Can I still join in? I find it so much easier to adhere to a healthy eating and exercise plan when I am accountable to others (which is why WW always worked well for me).

Maxter (and anyone else who is interested in WW), do you have a PDA? I have an awesome freeware program for my palm called WWCalc for journaling, point calculation, food and restaurant lists, weight history and all sorts of goodies. If you have a palm and would like a copy of it I'd be more than happy to email it to you.

Count me in. I've gained a lot of weight over the past couple years because of the stress of working full time and going to nursing school....mostly eating junk on the run since I was never home. Now that I'm done with school I don't have any excuses for not working out and making healthier choices. I'd like to lose around 60lbs total....and 10-15lbs before summer starts.

Ohh count me in. I lost 6 so far since starting the gym in February. I'm 130 5'5" and would like to go down 5 more maybe 10.

I leave for Cancun at the end of May so I need to hustle!

Mokoni,

Thanks for the offer - I do not have a PDA (I'm a SAHM) so don't use one anymore. I keep track on a log on my computer via the WW website.

Anyone else who is doing WW should take advantage of this generous offer!

I am keeping a list of everyone who is joining. We can do our "weigh in" post anytime on Saturday (with pounds lost) and I will post everyone's result on Sunday am.

Any other suggestions? Other than motivational posts to keep us going!!

Sounds great! I put one of those tickers in my signature, so hopefully it is working. I am down another pound this morning. Good luck, everyone!

Sounds good:) I know some people don't want to do weigh-ins and that's perfectly fine. We all can still motivate each other.
Since I will be in this thread a lot, HELLO Everyone!!!!! My name is Kristina. I'm 23 from California (United States.) I'm looking to lose about 15 lbs. but I am looking more to gain my energy back and de-stress. I'm on no actual diet, but monitor my portions (because I just can't let go of ice cream!) I am beginning to go the gym 3 times a week, hopefully 4, but on the off days, I do a workout dvd.
Good luck everyone and I can't wait to talk to you all

Hi, Mokoni I have a palm pilot can you please email it to me. I tried searching for it but couldn't find it. If you pm me I'll be more than happy to provide you with my email address. I think this would help me so much to keep track of my caloric intake. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do in order to lose 12 pounds? That was awesome weight loss. I am having trouble losing 1 pound. Well keep up the good work and you should be to your goal weight in no time.

I'd love to join this group too! I just signed up for Weight Watchers online, and so far... I think the main problem is I don't have a set of scales at home, though I just ordered some from Amazon, so I can't continuously track myself. I think I'd like to lose about 15 lbs, though that completely depends on what the scale says!

Good luck to everyone!

i have no probs weighing in...but, like someone else mentioned, i tend to get VERY obsessive with the scale. and i am going to my best to not have that happen this time. so, i am doing a weigh in ONCE a week only, just for this. i'm going to try and go by how my clothes fit instead.

I'm going to work out for a second time today right now! I'm back on track and so excited! I tried to start a walking group thread but no one seems interested at this point. I do Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVD's or treadmill or walk outdoors (we have a beautiful walk path throughout my neighborhood..it's a 5 mile path). I'm going to the one of the DVD's now. The 3 Mile walk! Love them!
