Red face Fitness buddy

Hey everyone!

Im starting the gym next friday
Im looking for a gym buddy weither you are physically there or just through the internet.
I plan on using ballys on Jamicia avenue in queens.

Im 23 years old, 202lbs(i dont look it because im tall) and im about 5'7
I have gained about 20 lbs since i was in college(the freshman 20), now that I have graduated, im home IN THE REAL WORLD, i THINK ITS TIME FOR ME TO MAKE A CHANGE IN MY LIFE.
Im going to start my changing my eating habbit first and working about 5- 7 days a week.

I would like weigh myself every 2 weeks and discuss anything I could be doing wrong and that would set me back.

Hopefully you women/men could help me out there!!!

Good luck. I think it's important to focus on overall health and fitness, rather than weight. With that said, small milestones can be really encouraging. So, keep at it and let us know if you have any questions or would like to share your successes.

Wishing you good luck also...I try to maintain a regular schedule to go the gym and struggle with work, family and life commitments. It's not easy, but once it becomes a habit, you'll see results and start to enjoy them! Just make a plan and stick to it. Don't be discouraged...you didn't gain the weight overnight. It takes time for it to come off.

i have been going to bally's about 5 days a week for the past month. i have a trainer i meet with once a week and try to do a lot of cardio. i need to lose about 15 pounds of baby weight. the hardest part for me is cutting calories and such when i eat. i agree that is takes time to lose if you are doing everything naturally( no weight loss pills and such) good luck and come back often with updates

It does take time and it is hard. It's hard to make the lifestyle adjustments. Because it's not just about working out- eating habits have to change too. But the rewards are worth it. The health benefits, self-esteem, etc...
