Disgusting. I just hate the texture of mushy baby food. If something is going to be mushy in my mouth, I would prefer if I did the chewing myself. Besides, part of the fun of food is the texture. Baby food makes me think of the content you see in baby diapers. When my cousins were babies, I used to feed them and I felt bad about it because I wouldn't want to eat what they were eating. I tried a little spoonful of something chicken flavored one time and I wanted to throw up.

i used to work in a food store and there was a woman that ate the apple one and would buy like 20 jars a week. she swore by it and said its better than any applesauce she had ever tried. i just thought it was weird. even her hubby made fun of her for it lol

I would NEVER eat baby food out of a jar..BUT. I have put a jar of carrots. (which is pure beta carotene) into my homemade tomato sauce as it gives you more iron. and other things you need,,

Thats a 'trick' I learned while I was dieting and it really does give you lots of nutrients.

I will say. I do buy those 'stars/or whatever they are in the containers as they are lower in sugar. lower in fats/sodium and I mix them up with raisens/nuts/dried fruits and have a healthier verision of whats being sold in bags.

I've heard of ppl doing this before, way before it hit hollywood. I think I could eat babyfood fruit but veggies and other things..yuck.

ah nasty!!!! the smell of lamb baby food comes back to me now...i was feeding it to my baby kittens a few weeks back...the smell was awful! gag!
