What an interesting diet. I'm not sure how much mush I can eat and keep down.

i'm 24 now, and when I was in HS this was a big trend with the crash dieters. they also would put their diet sodas in baby bottles, they thought it was cute.. looking back now they are were really f**ked up. I didnt understand it then and I dont understand it now. What's wrong with people that you can't just limit yourself? whats going to stop a binger from eating 5+ baby jars, if youre still hungry, youre still hungry.

pass too, baby food tastes disgusting, I like the fruit ones tho, but I think those wont work very good, haha... j/k.. I dont think is healty to substitute an adult size meal for a little tiny jar of baby food, even some babies are hungry after eating a whole jar... how can celebrities eat so little? seriously

Ew. Of course you'll lose weight, it's fricken BABY FOOD!
I guess it's alright if you snack on it healthily, but to replace a MEAL with baby food is just wrong. |

I personally find baby food to be so rank, I almost felt guilty when I was feeding it to my daughter. I'd be like "let's eat the yummy peas!" and I'd be thinking "I'm so sorry sweetie."

Everytime DD would ask for her veggie puffs, I'd sneak some for myself
Those are really yummy. But the bottled mush? eeeew. No thanks.

I have known of this trend for a while now, and once, out of curiosity, I tried a bottle of banana&semolina puree. I ate the bottle's entire content but was still hungry. I would have never touched the meat/fish ones...

I eat gerber graduates baby food all the time. It's really freaking excellent, quick, and made for baby-bellies so it's super gentle and high in vitamins and minerals (generally). A little salt and pepper and 30 seconds in the microwave and you're good to go!

I've been having baby food for snacks for YEARS and my co-workers all make fun of me, my SO does too. To me its convenient and safe, if you think about it, baby food is the one thing they don't mess around with. If you look at the ingredient list there are no ingredients that you can't pronounce or that you've never heard of, they use ascorbic acid (citric juice) to conserve the food and that is it.
Oh I should mention that I only eat the fruit and veggie onces, sometimes ones with oatmeal. No meat/fish or chicken concoctions for me. |

this is nothing new. I used to eat baby food (the fruit ones) years ago, and still sometimes do. it's just mushed food, there's nothing wrong with it and it's also free of a lot of additives they put in adult food to preserve it. it's not something you eat when you're hungry for a meal, it's just something you snack on when you're a little hungry or craving something, instead of having something with tons more calories in it.
