I am starting a thread to track my weight loss journey and intend to post regularly to keep me on track and for added accountability.
I have about 70 pounds to lose, which seems daunting. I am going to break that down into smaller milestones and celebrate my successes as I reach those milestones. I started Weight Watchers again today and am unsure if I will continue with meetings or if I will just do it online. My first goal is to lose 5lbs. Here's to a good, on plan week.

Thanks ladies.
I am not sure how I am going to use this thread but at this point at the start of my journey I am going to post my meals. Breakfast today was: banana coffee with half and half egg beaters and cheddar wrapped in a tortilla glass of water |

YAY, good for you. What you are doing is soo good, small goals first!I just joined WW on Monday, took me years to do it. lol. This is how I lost weight years and years ago. IT works!!!! The last year I tried Atkins with No sucess, I would lose and regain all of my weight every month. Great Luck to you!!! You will be sucessfull. I would suggest going to the meetings only as the support is really good. I already made friends with some people and we plan to meet on Monday nights. I need the added support, I would always do it alone and fail. Your breakfast sounds good!

For lunch today I had fat free yogurt and a slice of cheese.
For dinner today I had a basa fillet. For snacks today I had a Halloween sized Kit Kat, a large apple and a cereal bar. I am not feeling well and wasn't very hungry today. Also, I am finishing up the food I have in the house so my meals may seem strange. I will be doing a full grocery shopping excursion this weekend. It's not easy to admit to the world that I have 70 lbs to lose but I've made my ticker and it is there for all to see. |

Yay! I look forward to seeing your ticker slide towards the other side. I think you are approaching this in a sensible manner with a good game plan. Just keep doing what you are doing and know you have tons of support here!

I'm two pounds lighter this morning than I was yesterday morning. I know it is becasue I got my period yesteday and must have been retaining water.
Today's meals: B - coffee w/ cream, cereal bar, banana L - very small amounts of -- turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce and a sliver of pumpkin pie, glass of milk D - turkey and ham sub from Subway with lots of veggies and no mayo (had mustard instead) 7 glasses of water so far and one cup of green tea |
