bnjj, I am really happy for you! I can totally relate about the knee boot situation. I too am looking forward to shopping for boots without worrying about zipping them up. Great job!

So the size 10 jeans that I bought a number of weeks ago are too big and I constantly have to keep pulling them up even when I wear a belt. I tried on a pair of size 8 jeans today but this particular style was quite snug. They did up okay but were pretty snug so I didn't buy them. I don't want to keep spending money on clothes that I only get a short period of wear out of but it is hard as I have to have something to wear.

When I'm down about another 5lbs or so I will see if I can find a smaller size in the same brand as my current size 10 jeans.

I'm off to a conference leaving today and back Wednesday night so will have little control over the food that is offered.

Hi Anne! Thank you so much. I'm doing okay, how are you?

I'm not over in the CCC thread these days as dealing with everything with my dad and his estate these past 7 months has left me no time to spend money on things I don't need so I've not been in the CCC thread at all lately.

I am back from my business trip, which was incredibly exhausting and did not allow for great food choices. I left on Sunday and until Tuesday night I did not see an actual vegetable. I am now up a few pounds but am pretty sure 90% of it is due to sodium intake and water retention.

I am now home for 4.5 days before I leave for Vegas and plan to eat really well until I leave and will try to eat fairly well while in Vegas.

I haven't posted in a bit because I was travelling 2 weeks out of October. Life has been so crazy busy since I have been back that I haven't had a lot of time to go do a proper grocery shopping trip so I haven't been cooking proper meals and my weight loss these last couple weeks has been stagnant. I have consumed far too much sodium this past week and need to start eating better. I plan to go grocery shopping tomorrow.

On the positive side, I bought a pair of size 8 jeans yesterday!!! I have not been a size 8 in several years.

Yayyyy! I love that feeling, it's like you are going back in time.

And same here on the sodium and not cooking - I think I am gonna do a real shopping today because since Sunday I have eaten takeout five times - haven't blown my calorie counts, but five times in a week? That must be like a month's worth of salt.

Thanks guys!

I can't believe it - today I tried on and bought a pair of size 6 dress pants. It was an amazing feeling to ask the SA to bring a smaller size to me in the dressing room as I have not done that in EONS. In the past number of years if I needed a larger size I either got it myself or didn't even bother.

I have to go for a bra fitting one of these days as I really don't know what size I am right now. I am a far cry from the 36/38 F I was.
