Thanks! It was only my first week back on WW and I did not use all my 35 extra points. In the past when I've done WW I found that I had the best results when I ate about 2/3 of the WPA.

I'm also kicking around the idea of trying Core but I think it may be too much work for me as with Flex you can eat anything.

just another thought bnjj - with core, you don't count points - you just pick from the list of foods! some people find that easier. i just never trusted myself to 'eat until satisfied' because that's one thing that contributed to me gaining so much weight!

I know you don't count points on Core and that you eat mainly from a list of foods. That's what I meant about trying it but not knowing if it would be too hard to follow as on Flex I can eat anything.

I cant do the core program, I did the whole atkins thing. I need structure. Balance and I cant choose to eat anything I want in moderation, or I can eat totally clean. Core is harder for me because you really have to be VERY focused on knowing your hunger levels and not going off the list, or I would gain.

Straying from the list would be the hardest part for me to overcome.

Thank you. This week has not been great as my mom is in the hospital and I am a stress eater. WI is at 7am tomorrow morning and I anticipate a gain.

Well, I faced WI. I wasn't going to as I know I have consumed a lot of high sodium foods this past week and ate fast food at 10:00 last night when I left the hospital. I got up this morning and weighed myself like I do every day, didn't like what the scale said so crawled back in bed and decided I was going to skip this week's meeting. I was in bed for maybe 5 minutes or so when I decided I needed to face it and got my butt up and to the meeting.

I have gained back 1.4 of the 1.8 lbs I previously lost. My leader thinks much of it is water retention from all the sodium I ate this week so I am hoping for a good WI next week as I intend to be on plan this week and will make good choices.

Today's meals:

B - coffee w/ half and half, banana, 50 grams bocconcini cheese

What is Bocconcini cheese? It sounds interesting.

Good for you for going to the meeting today! I'm sure next week will be easier!

So proud of you for going!!!! i hope your mom is better. Last weeks meeting was using food to help with emotions. Its a hard habit for me to break. i eat when I am happy, sad, angry, stressed. you get the idea. Take care of yourself and be proud you went to a meeting, use it as support right now. Even if you are just staying the same weight and not gaining!!!! Im sure you will see a downward trend. I eat a lot of sodium too but I figure its better than eating sodium and crap. Pick your battles. you just won one of them by getting up and forcing yourself to a meeting. Weigh to go!!!!!

bnjj - wtg for going to the meeting!!!!

i of course don't know what you weigh, but it doesn't sound like you are eating quite enough...
maybe you could journal for a week and then ask your WW leader to review it? sometimes they can spot areas that need work...more water, more vegetables, less snacks, etc.

i'm sorry about your mom...i hope she is okay!!
