So I haven't worked out in roughly 2 years. I was pretty good about in college, but the past few years I've been working about 45-60 hour weeks and have been way too tired (even though we had a gym in our building they didn't have that great of equipment)

I'm happy to report that we just joined our country club and I went to the gym today. I was there about 30 min and ran 2miles and did some weights!

I'm so excited I can walk to our gym-I think it will make a huge difference in my will to go!

I'm not overweight but definitely looking to drop a few vanity pounds and tone everything that's loose back up

Just wanted to share because I'm so excited!

I face a similar problem. I used to be very active and in excellent shape before I started working full-time. Now I get so tired from working and commuting that I can workout only on the weekends. As a result, I've gained 15 lbs in 1 year (I used to be 122lbs). I'm not fat or anything but I just want to feel better. I try my best to do some yoga or home dvd workout at home though. Anyhow, I hope you keep it up. I will also do the same :)

I tried doing various this at home, but for some reason I really enjoy the resistance of the machines. Yoga is too slow for me everyone is going down into dog pose and I'm already there waiting for the next move. I looked into pilates, but it's so bloody expensive around here.

I have been walking the dog, but that's not exactly strenuous. I went to the beach a few weeks ago and I was sore from walking through the sand! That was my tipping point!

Good luck it takes a lot of work and dedication.

Good for you hunny! Going to the gym makes one feel soooo good (minus the soreness and the act of dragging yourself there ). And def. rest up those muscles if you're sore, it's never good to over work yourself

Great job! I always had problems dragging myself to the gym, so I've been the same way.
