Yes, I've had the same thing too. I think it could be hormonal too. Maybe a combo. My doc gave me klonopin to take as needed. Same thing happened at work couple weeks ago. Started w/headache, then dizziness and just went downhill so bad couldn't keep my head up. Left work and right to bed. Woke up was fine! Very strange and scary too.

I agree that it could be hormonal. I have experienced that as well in the past. It doesn't sound like a panic attack to me.

Get doctors opinion on this one, I think panic attack is more psychological experience. If this is directly related to time of month may be more hormonal imbalance. very distressing for you & you don't want to happen again! Perhaps you did just panic with pain but need medical opinion for best way forward.

Check to make sure yu are not anemic. Have a complete blood panel done.

I am anemic, take iron and have the same things you describe. I have been diagnosed with fibroids. It is fairly common.

its definately not a panic attack but do get to a doctor asap because it could also be signs of cysts on your ovaries that are rupturing.

^^^ Ditto what she said ^^^ It sounds like your blood iron may be low. It also could be dehydration.

I don't think it's panic. It def sounds like a combination of hormones and anemia or dehydration. Check in with your gyn asap!

Its hormonal. When I was in my teens and early 20s, my period gave me all of the symptoms you listed above. My legs would feel like jello and I would be nauseous. My gyno told me that some people just have it bad. Now, my periods are not as bad only because I over medicate myself. My gyno told me once I have a baby things will get better. I doubt it...

Sorry to hear that happened. How scary! I don't think that was a panic attack, either. I hope it doesn't happen to you again and hope you can talk to a medical professional.

Sorry to hear of your awful experience.

Tbh, it sounds like a panic attack, but you have other symptoms that are not associated with one, too.:s

I've had a few panic attacks, twice when i was pregnant..one happened when i was sat in the hairdressers chair - my hairdresser said she could feel the heat coming off me just before it happened!

You kind of 'black out' with lots of flashing lights in your vision, have pins and needles sensations, breathe extremely quickly, go very pale, feel panicky and breathless, go very hot, then cold, then normal again once you get your breathing under control.
But, panic attacks pass relatively quickly.

I would say go and see your GP. It sounds hormone related to me.(((hugs)))

sounds like a painc attack. i get those 2-3 times a week and had them on and off my whole life with the throw up feeling, weak, dizzy, cant breath, and you feel kinda delusional. don't worry. it CANT hurt you. i know it's scary and you feel like your gonna die, but you wont the best thing to do is get yourself out of the situation that you are in and find a comfort zone. hope everything is well

Did you eat that day? It could have been low blood sugar. My friend gets the same symptoms and it always seems to happen when she has nothing but coffee and it is way past lunch. Once she gets some food in her she is fine but it does exhaust her. Her doctor told her nothing was wrong and she had a lot of blood work but she is also supposed to eat....which she still does not do.

That's what happens to me. I can't describe the feeling but it is the worst feeling imaginable. I take Ativan nightly to prevent them . . .
