I don't know, nikki, but I'm the same way. I mean, I always loved bags, but never a designer line. And I've never fallen for an entire line like I have for HH. The clothes, shoes, bags, accessories-- it all appeals to me. I think it's the well-thought-out design and slightly vintage vibe.

I'd love a Havana for under $250 in a cool color...

I also have my eye on the Origami bag, but not sure if I will like having two straps... I'm usually a one-strap bag sorta gal.

I'm also in search of the 'perfect' medallion statement earrings in gold/goldtone (filigree? solid? dunno!). I've been on etsy a lot lately... can't make up my mind, though.

cciele, that necklace is so cool!!! A while back, I was looking for a long necklace, with stations, that I could layer. I never decided on one (but found a cute and cheapo one at Target that I knew I could knock around, and ended up getting lots of compliments on it), but I found myself looking over at Coach's necklaces every now and then. I haven't been into too into their handbags lately, but their jewelry line might be worth a look.

cciele -
great lookin' necklace from anthro!!!

okay....here's what I'm looking for and MAYBE this is it:
http://www.shopworthwhile.com/produc...bcategory=bags

After my recent trip to LA - I realized that I needed a crossbody/smaller bag. More vertical than horizontal w/an adjustable strap. I don't KNOW if the POMP that I have on order will do the trick, so need to wait until she arrives. Have always had a fondness for Jas bags....but not willing to spend the retail $. I have a Gryson Nylon Skye that I use for travel, but the straps are too short for crossbody and I have emailed them to ask IF longer straps are available....NOT.

Hey, maybe I should have someone make me straps????
The thought just occurred to me?????

If nylon is ok, I have a small bag from HighWay which I really love. It's got tons of pockets and is very well made. It must be 4 years old by now and still looks great. (I bought it directly from their store in NYC)

syb..fafnir...ITA about the Highway..I feel like an idiot..I owned so many bags that weren't HH..that I passed on or gifted..

I got my highway bag from a now defunct retailer where I live..Anni..she carried so many indie brand labels..I was in heaven..but I think Luna Boston sells them..I used it for school..it has great straps to hand carry plus a messenger strap..plus it's fun and funky..(I think most are made of nylon and pleather BTW)..my older DD inherited it...and uses it as a laptop/notebook bag..

blammy..I missed you..amiga...I remember seeing something ring or bracelet or something along those lines...skulls that was not AMcQ..love it btw (although to be frank it reminds me of the rings I used to buy myself at the dispensers outside supermarkets and candy stores when I was a wee tyke..sorry amiga..you know I'm honest..I do love the red gold one though)

...so I will search through my files and let you know what it is..I love them..but I have to be a bit discreet with them..small studs for the ears..tiny bangles..maybe some on shoes...or flip flops..or a discreet print on the bag..

I have internet now..finally a tech who knows his business..and upgraded to higher speed...which finally became available..(not fios though, still w8ting for that)..

Here you are, I should have ironed it beforehand but I was lazy. (Wearing a chocolate JCrew tee, Matt Bernson sandals-- these are heaven on the feet! and the HH Wormy scarf-- inspired by blam)

fafnir -- What a lovely outfit! Love the skirt, and the wormy scarf goes perfectly with it.

mangowife -- I tried on some necklaces at Target too, but the selection at my Target was pretty picked over I wasn't even aware Coach had a jewelry line; will have to check it out!

dcblam -- the Jas bag is really cool! Neat distressed leather. I dig those skull rings too
