Nice!! I've still never seen another HH IRL (on someone I don't know)! I still look though, not giving up hope.

I was working a Nestle corporate event about 3 months ago in Coronado and there was a lady with a LIDO wallet. I was uber excited when I saw it. I've never seen another HH item from someone here. Was it any of you lovely gals?

Journal entry: 3:00pm October 13th, 2009

It was a cold-ish day, and the streets of Chicago were peppered with black coats. Even though there was no snow in sight, my steps felt heavy as if my feet remembered the weight of winter. Eyes constantly scanning the pedestrian traffic and the sidewalk ahead (woman with heavy gear coming through- make way), I spy a spot of color- just a dab of sunset against the grey cement. It was a yam lorca! It was a little summery smile being carried on a woman's shoulder as she strolled without a care past the Christian Science Reading Room on Wacker! Was it you?

Journal Entry: 9:15 pm October 13, 2009

It had been a long day, and night came with a vengeance. Even blacker was the Havana I spied on a young woman's arm. On her other arm was a hunk-o-young-man. Was it you?

Tonight...dark side-street...lone jet streaming a plume of dirty grey in the black sky...I'm all alone...the streetlights dimly lighting my way as I gingerly wend my way down the block to the safety of my car.

I hear a rustling noise..turn quickly and spy a woman dressed in a brown Alpaca sweater,...clutching car keys....brandishing her KP Corcovado as a shield against potential assailants..a Yam Conrad firmly wedged between her arm and her ribcage...the feral cat yowls as it dashes across the street...my heart is pounding..and the woman turns with me..she too hears the noise..and reacts..I am not alone!

Was that you Hottie???..OH NO..alas..what a letdown...t'was I, reflected in a car window! And to think my heart leaped with joy for that brief moment when I believed I had spied my doppelganger..or better yet, a kindred spirit!

Still waiting for a close encounter..or any encounter..here.in the Heartland...why oh why do I not spy another Hottie...sigh....

Oh. Duh. Got carried away with my own cleverness. Doesn't happen that often:)

Now, where was I....
9:15 pm October 13, 2009... continued

The black havana took on a life of its own- it was an extension of the young woman's shadow and it moved with her, unhurried and fluid as she made her way to the crossroads at Ohio and Noble. Was it you?

You: At Peet's on First and Howard Streets this morning, rocking your Khaki Patent Corcorvado. Short, brown curly hair.

Me: Coming up with excuses to stay inside the shop while waiting for you to put away your wallet (the last thing I wanted to do was scare you by walking up to you when you had your wallet wide open), and only caught you turning around for a split second. I think you spied my Grape Shine Trophy Satchel, but you didn't look twice. You probably thought I was a stalker because I was looking right at you!

My first HH sighting IRL!

LOL.

i think i forgot to post the last one I saw. It was a brown Inka at the whole foods checkout. I wasn't paying much attention then I saw the tiny gold studs with stitching. I relly fear beign taken for a purse snatcher when i'm trying to make out details.
