I caved and got the Penelope dress and Emile passcase in grape. It came out to $67 including shipping of $14. That's a pretty good bargain, I'd say, despite the shipping cost.

bwah! I am tempted by the Maddies in brown but they are only 50% off and I don't want to blow a Groupon on them. The euc Maddies are 75% off but not in my size. *pout*

Same here, except the euc Maddies were my size.

Grabbed them with my $50 coupon -- hope that it went through!

Also hoping that they're free of the dreaded green spots! I think that the green spots were mostly on Zeldas, not Maddies....?

I hope they're spot free for you too! If that is important to you, you can always call HH to inquire about their condition.

Do you think that they'll let me cancel the order if they have spots? The description didn't list defects, which IMO implies perfect condition....

^ I think you can cancel anytime up until it ships. IIRC, the green tint problem first came to light when some HHotties opened their brand new boxes to discover their boots in this condition. Caveat emptor and all that. Hopefully your boots will be pristine, though!

Cool, thanks for the info. I emailed HH to confirm that they're spot-free.

I need to come up with a reason though why I need 2 pairs of grey boots (Maddies & Zeldas) so that I can explain to DH.

In a fit of paranoia, I just went and checked my Eucalyptus Zeldas (they've been in storage since last spring). Happily, they look great-- no green spots.
