Default The History of Hayden-Harnett Havana
Havana hobo has been one of HH's best sellers because it is a near-perfectly designed bag and has been done up in some fabulous leather/color combos. It's one we want over and over so they make it again and again.
The following is a compilation that may or may not be comprehensive ~ feel free to add any I missed, please !

2005 - Black, Chocolate, Bronze, Moss, Mulberry Leathers, Tweed cloth w/ Black leather trim & bronze suede floral applique
2006 - luxe Chocolate and luxe Black added to line. These have woven leather flaps and are highly desirable collector's bags 2006 - Coral, Cobalt, and Iznik Yellow
2007 - Plum, Olive,Chalk, Saddle
2008 - Black,Grey (true elephant), Yam, Anthracite (dk Silver), Eggplant (muted purple),
Goldrush, Lagoon (minty aqua ), Oyster (lightly pearled white)
2009 - Cordovan (red-brown), Grey Crystal Patent, Violet Crystal Patent, Platinum Lizard,Black and Ruby.
Black appears to be the only standard in all years.
I know I don't have this exactly right (hazy '06-'07), so please make corrections and add your Havana experiences to this thread. Of great interest : information concerning early editions and how your Havanas held up over time with use.
This would be a good place to add your critiques and hopes for future HAVANAS !
**** Add pictures of your Havanas, please !****

Thanks for all the info, Stormy!
I just got my first Havana Hobo the other day, but I can tell you it won't be my last~
I want one in a bunch of colors!
The CORDOVAN (red-brown) sounds beauty-ful, and, of course, I want the RUBY as well!!!!

It may just be THE perfect bag!

Great thread! I have the Havana in blush, saddle and olive. I had the Luxe version in black but sold it as the woven flap was too stiff and didn't lie flat on the bag. I love my Havanas and the matching tassels of my bags (older styles) really adds a bit of oomph! There was also a color similar to the saddle but I cant remember the name...

It really is the perfect bag! The tiny studs are just enough, it looks great carrying a little or a lot, and it complements casual and business attire (imo).

Oooh I own a few HH bags but have held out on the Havana Hobo because I haven't seen a color I just had to have. I am lovin' the sound of "Cordovan" (red-brown) though! I guess I'll be adding that Havana to my collection very soon!

It's next to impossible to capture the actual color of the 2008 Lagoon Havana (it is a touch more sea green than it looks in the pics) but here is my best effort...

Okay ladies... that's it for me... I only have 2 so far... although I would love one in Yam, Grey, and the new Purple Patent!

POST LOTS OF PICS OF YOUR LOVELY HAVANAS!

I have a Havana hobo (grey) and have to agree that it is an awesome bag.
Sep, I love your Luxe Choc. Havana and hope they reissue that style.

Oh I keep forgetting BLUSH ! TY! Is the leather like saddle and olive ?
What year was that ? What else did I miss ?
I am surprised the woven flap felt stiff. They seem to really break -in for me,, and become almost too soft.
