What item wasn't even on your radar until the tpf chicas talked it up?
--(And)Orrr, what item did you love and then outta no where exploded and got uber popular? Q1. The Conrad... all things Yam. Q2. The Zap lorca got really big for a bit. I'd been lusting for Zap ever since I missed it in wallet form. |

The Origami bag I'm waiting for right now -- hadn't even considered it until I read the rave reviews and saw the pics posted here! Same for the Ramones -- had not clue they could be so cool until I started seeing pics and reading reviews.

Blueberry Trophy. I loved the Trophy already, but wasn't interested in any other colors really since I had the ICP. I also like the VCP trophy now.
Another was the Inka big clip. Wasn't into it at first, but after reading about lots of other gals who liked it I got one and it is awesome. Still haven't found my own love for the Sonia tote, but that just makes me one less person to fight over one with

Oh yeah! The Ramones and the Origami were def. facilitated by tpf ladies!!!
Thank goodness I'm over my BB Trophy love! They're expensive and hard to come by (well, for now 2 are on Bon...) |

I was just talking about this the other day to another TPFer. There are a lot of bags that were not on my radar, that I actually thought were ugly, till TPFers talked it up. The Louvre, Ana frame bag, Sonia, Orsay, inka, havana, PILOTS AND POMPS, and I know therre are more. I also used to only buy black bags, but now I buy everything but black.

^ Oh, forgot about the Ana. I only bought mine because a couple of members were raving about theirs and I felt the need to try one out. They are way cute!

I definitely have tPF to thank for the Origami, Clara (only have BZ wallet so far), and maybe the Lido.

Another vote for the Origami. Not even on my mind until I started seeing IRL pix here, and that cute video from HH. I still don't own it, but I know I probably have to act quickly if I want one ...

And I also thought Clara was kind of ugly, too-70s, and thrown-together looking until I saw it swinging from a few shoulders here.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that any older paule marrot kind is a sleeper hit.

Definitely the Pomp and Origami for me...actually I'm sure the majority of the bags I've gotten were because of reviews on here.
My Zeldas...I thought they weren't that attractive on the site, then started seeing pics on here and fell in love.

Q1: Either the Trophy or... all things Moonbeam. I just didn't get it, when it came out and everyone went nuts, and then it was one of the Pomp colors... I was like eh.... and then the IRL reviews and pics started rolling in and I thought... hmmm... looks nothing like the HH pics... might be do-able... and then another Hottie gifted me a slightly damaged MB carryall, and that's ALL she wrote. Now I have the carryall, a Lorca, and a sample wallet on the way
LOVE the Moonbeam!!Q2: No one really talked about Lead... it was still "around" and available when I started paying attention to HH... and then on some big sale (around January?) a Lido wallet popped up for like half off and I grabbed it... it's probably the thing I own now on the most ISO lists! |
