I'm with you on that one Jenn. I didn't get the moonbeam thing until the LE Pompidou. I chose MB for that only because a) I don't like pinky violets (VCP) and b) there wasn't a guarantee which black it would be. So, I thought "well, MB is a year round color for Florida". Wow, was I surprised when I opened that box.

Oh how I wished I discovered MB when there was still a MB Havana available. Not that I liked that combination that much, but it is the only large handbag that HH did in the moonbeam. So, yeah, I want one of those!

RMC - I think Angie posted about one at Von Maur - it was on sale but not cheap for sure. Although it looked gorgeous. I would've gotten it but we have a lot of winter here compared to Florida (understatement) and I wasn't sure how much wear it would get. Still hoping and praying for an anthracite Havana.

The havana. It looks really big (to me) in the pics. I really thought that the lorca was going to be the bag for me. I got a lorca and couldn't make it work, read all the reviews on tpf of the havana and am sold! Bought one and I want more

I have crappy taste. So I rely on ALL of you to help me make bag decisions.

I resisted the Trophy for a long while but then Jenni did her famous winter poses and showed me the elbow move with the trophy strap and I went for one. Love it.

One of the below-radar-range bags that was a surprise for me was the Vachetta Hudson Satchel. Everyone talks up the Smoke and Cocoa. More often than not, when a vachetta Hudson comes on auction I will read "if it weren't vachetta, I'd be all over that one".

I think the Vachetta continues to cruise way under the radar. I would say I bought my Hudson Vachetta not because everyone raved about it but because they didn't (and it therefore went cheaper). But it is definately a sleeper. And, I am glad I got that one. I think the vachetta is a prettier tan than the saddle. There, I said it. Now all the saddle afficionados are locking and loading their big guns, LOL. Vachetta stomps Saddle!

Oh, I am feeling the fall friskeys. The first cool day in Florida since...well, can't remember...

I'm going to chime in on the Origami too. I thought it was really impractical-- a long, flat bag?? How useful is that? But the HH video convinced me otherwise and it is now one of my favorites!

There are many HH bags that I see on the website and they just don't float my boat. But then I see alternate views or IRL pics and fall head-over-heels! The Corcovado tote was another one like that.

Fun thread, enga! There are quite a few bags I would never have tried if not for tPF. The mercer satchel for sure--also the pomp, pilot, pamela, wyeth?? I'm sure there are others. The only bag I really fell hard for (of this bunch) was\s the wyeth. Still not feeling the huge hoopla over the pomp and pilot--even though I do like them. Also, the corcovado, never really caught my eye (cept I liked the emerald color when it came out) but the popularity on here has me feeling like I need to give it a try!

Origami for me too. I initially thought it was weird and ugly but with all the raving reviews and pics, it's really grown on me. Also, the Pilot and Pomp, Emile Clutch Wallet, and Athena.
