Just wondering how Beatrice's extreme makeover is going. I'm not as brave as you. I sent 2 bags to Bagborroworsteal.com for some cosmetic surgery. Got 1 back today (needed a sequin sewn on) They took lining out to do so & you can't even tell. Looks brand new. They charged $25.00 to do it. Very reasonable.

Ms. Liz -
glad that you're feeling better and believe me, my body temp rose just reading your post about how nervous you were cleaning Bea....I would be too!

ah - great story about the history of your Bea - love knowing more about your bag......

jenn -
H1N1...yes, brace yourself and what a relief to see you use the proper name for this flu.....you CANNOT imagine the phone calls I received on TWH comment line, esp. from piggie farmers......

Eye Heart -
great info to know about BagBorrowSteal......and yes, reasonable considering now you're more comfortable/confident to use/wear your bag.

LOL, Blam! I'm SUCH a good little liberal, I do exactly what NPR tells me to do... if they say "STOP calling it such and such" I do :)

I'm a little worried about this one... it seems like it's not going to be as lethal as we'd feared, but massively disruptive. And I HATE the flue with a passion. Always get my shots. It's one thing if half the class is out sick; it's another if the prof is, or if they simply shut campus down. There's stuff to do!!

But please... I'm dying. PM me if you must. What IS it that you DO???? Surely you don't deal with TWH comment calls as community service???

yup....call me crazy, but it's all volunteer. you've got to go through clearance, but nothing major. There are people there that have been doing it for over 25 years! so, depends on what they need: answering phone, emails, written correspondence, etc. the amount of communication coming into this WH is unprecedented....I do it once a week. It's exhilirating and exhausting and can be emotionally taxing.
AND every touch that comes our way....gets our undivided attention.

Did we ever get to see the final reveal? Did I miss it somewhere?

You didn't miss it. MissyL has been busy as ants at a picnic, I now she finished part one but there are no rules how quickly the process must proceed. I am just glad that bag found her & am astounded that the previous owner neglected Beababy. The up side (small) of that is that no old products have to be removed, for example conditioner over waterspot, yipes that would make it nigh impossible to clean.
