What a beauty! Ms. Liz. I wonder what kind of story she is- I'd want to know her previous owner as well. Love the color and shape!

Ms. Liz, did you ever get the skinny on the bag from HH? Just curious.

No Miss Curley I didn't even get to call them. I have been sick as a dog from this nasty flu going around for the past 4 days.
Suzzee, I'm going to try and sit outside in the sun (Beatrice under the table umbrella of course) and work on her today....what a waste of a weekend being this sick..... |

Oh no... MsLiz, get to feeling better soon! Did you catch the H1N1? I'm bracing for it as soon as classes start up again. Get some TLC from that BF of yours :)

Ok Camp Restore Beatrice......Just commenced and the first cleansing round completed. Man oh man I was sweating bullets....at first I couldn't get the handle on the cleaning as it wasn't making any suds, but then I figured out due to my paranoia about getting her too wet, I needed the cleaning cloth a little damper. *whew*
I had Stormy's directions all printed out next to the Lexol directions and followed them as best I could, but it was nerve wracking. Just to see the whole bag turn such a dark wet color had me sweating bullets! I am not sure how much it will change it, as the white washcloths I used for rinsing/wiping down had some dirt but not as I expected. I will follow Stormy's advice and do another cleaning session. I will say this, there was what came off that looked like some sale tag adhesive (but not really) and I was impressed the product removed it. So on to the mystery of the saddle Beatrice.....I spoke with Nitza just a few minutes ago...I could tell I was throwing her for a loop with my Beatrice questions. Kind of Sherlock Holmesly. I think she thought I was not happy with my purchase. Once I assured her I love it, and she went back in the records to search her out, she came back with some info. The bag was definatley sent for repair to the handle. Not that I can even see where. Apparently it stayed at the repair place overseas for awhile. Once it was returned it ended up in the warehouse. She told me the repair order was written in such a way that it was an internal/in-house repair. We discussed the fact that HH does allow the gals to use some bags, which she agreed and then added that the bag (due to the way the order was written) was most likely Toni's or a friend of her's. So there you have it....Nitza is such a wonderful person. We discussed the fall line and exchanged our picks. She loves the trophy satchel in purple...and said she just knew that was the one I'd pick too...LOL She's great! |

I'm glad you found something about Beatrice. That's so interesting. I wonder why Toni or whoever did not want it back after getting fixed?
I would be sweating bullets about cleaning too. LOL! Scary. I hope it turns out well. |

I don't suppose Nitza gave any clues about when Fall would show up on the website for pre-orders?
And I'm sure that your Beatrice will be beautiful, I've never heard a bad thing about Lexol. |
