Mangowife - you said you were going to try to capture the colour later? Is it like the colour on Carlotta's pics of her Biblio?
Yes, I believe the GS in TS is like the Biblio! I've got some better picks coming up!

I'm definitely a zipper type of gal, and quite honestly I think I'd prefer one big compartment over two (or three) smaller ones. Why? Because then I have the option of carrying something really thick that can fit into the one huge compartment. That one thick item may not be able to fit into smaller compartments. BUT, that's just me!

You're right, the TS has 4 exterior pockets, 2 zipped full-length compartments, an interior zipped pocket and three interior slip pockets.

I think the Tharpe's wittle zipper on the flap is cute to hide "secret" things... but then again, that's why it's called the VJ bag. LOL. I do like the Tharpe, though. I just like the security of zipped compartments and I don't do flaps well (except for the Clara )

Unfortunately, I don't have a Tharpe, so I can't compare IRL. I do remember someone (Jenni?) posting the TS vs Tharpe dimensions, and they were very similar.

HTH!

Thanks for all the compliments on the gingko scarf, everyone! I've been wearing it all week, in different ways... it seemed difficult to style it at first, but now I have a better handle on it.

YES!!! SLOUCHY!!! Thank goodness! Carlottalyn, I think you NEED one of these to keep your Biblio company!

HAHA! I guess it's difficult for me to take a correctly proportionate photo with one hand while holding a GS TS in the other! Trust me!

Okay... here's a much better pic of the GS color. I had to find a room where the lighting was good enough to not require a flash... thank you, recessed kitchen lighting!

This is a pic of the bag almost full.

Congrats Mangowife on your new bag!!!! Gorgeous!

But...
No, no, no Sally....please consider as two completely different bags since nothing can top a Tharpe. It is completely unique.

#1 - bag almost full, top view

#2 - front compartment: a thin fabric bag containing 3 diapers, a thick book, a pair of DS' shoes

#3 - rear compartment: a large fabric sling, DS' sweater (and some other items, see next pic)

#4 - view of the rear compartment after taking away DS' sweater: a stuffed pomp and a stuffed PM HH barrel case. Note that the book from the front compartment is sorta "invading" the space of the rear compartment. This is the trouble with having two compartments. But, I can live with it!

#5 - same view as #4, but w/ a different hand position so the book isn't so noticeable.

The compartments are DEEP! This pic is supposed to show that I can stack the barrel case and pomp and it'll still fit the compartment!

And... a shot of all the contents (very mom-of-an-infant centric, I know). I'm very happy with the size!
