RMC - those pics are sooo helpful. What a gorgeous bag. I have a brandy trophy too so it gives me a great sense of what the bag is like. The straps look about the same length as the trophy.

The seller said she had owned a brandy all-leather and black and that the color leathers did run smaller. She said the white was larger than the others.

Edit: Forgot to answer your question before saving reply. I don't think I am going to scotch guard the interior. Firstly, I am a clutz with handbag treatments. Secondly, I have never messed up an interior of a bag. I have gotten handbags of the Bay where the interior looked like it had come through a war zone. Mine never do. I keep all pens and pencils in hard-shell cases. Everything else goes into carryalls. I don't have floating lipglosses to lose their caps. So, I think the Bea will be better off for not having me try my heavy hand at treating it.

OK... here are some truly silly modeling pics and one of the Cannes in natural light for a better sense of the color. It's aged to a bright yam, IMHO. The original color is mustard, but this is more golden/honeyed. And sorry about the goofy outfit and blurry pics. It's the BEDLAM game tonight (OK State v OU) and REAL fans wear ORANGE!! (And yes, I've had a shot of tequila.) Go POKES!! And yes, my hair is wet. The game's in two hours and we're headed over to some other OSU alums' house to watch it!

RMC- The reason I ask about the scotch guard is that I've had a couple of my lighter PM bags fade even in the dustbag. I did the interior of my mosaique satchel and the color has stayed bright.

I think it's so cute that you've got a JCrew cashmere sweater on, co-ordinated for the GP/Chalk Pall, and I'm wearing Bonnie's See By Chloe yam cardi to co-ordinate with the Saffron Pall!! That was such a great get-together/party!!

ETA: I really, really, really love this tote bag. And you (or anyone/anyone's cat) can curl up in it any day! The Saffron leather has so much more texture than the Yam, and it's warmer, once Yam has aged (to a more golden/brown). I'm so happy!! Thank you to the *occasional* Hottie for sending it my way!!
