if it is, i hope there will be other bags that will be of a similar size? - it's a great size for going out!

I was actually going to ask the same question, but I'd love to have a Plum Havana instead. (The sunkissed orange and lemondrop yellow sound lovely though!) The Plum Havana was the first HH bag I saw and it started my love for all things HH.

Hi Ben, Toni, Py, Daisy, Salina, Brittany, Stacy and everyone on the HH team!

Ben, I was also wondering if you and Toni are going to participate and attend next year's Cheap Thrills Warehouse Sale in Chicago? I went to this year's event and I met the wonderful Brittany and Stacy (sp?). It would be great to meet you and Toni next year!

Thanks for taking the time to visit and answer our questions. Like everyone else here, I'm also a huge fan.

Take care,
Tanya.

Hi!
We've been meaning to get out to the Chicago area, but with being so busy, I am not sure when we'll make it. We hardly leave the office... Staci is running a trunk show at the store Bess & Loie today, here's the link for details:

http://haydenharnett.com/news/bessandloie.html

We've been talking about how to do a "custom" bag; I think it's a terrific idea; it would be more expensive than the bags otherwise, since each one would have to be individually handmade by one person, and we'd probably have a plate put-in that was laser etched with your name. We'd have to ask for a deposit, and it could take over a month to make. If enough people were interested knowing all that, then we could start working on it.

We are discontinuing the Mercer clutch for now, but we have a lot of other great smaller bags coming out, and I don't think you all will miss it, after all :-)

Woot!! Thanks, Ben. Oh man, I could totally see custom Havana Hobos being very popular, even at a slightly higher cost. BE and Ignes have gathered quite a following in bespoke bags, and I bet HH could do it even better.

Hi Ben-
The custom made option sounds like music! I came to know your Nico xx a bit too late-and would love to have the option to order this model!

What good news, tonij and I aren't crazy after all!

Maybe you could put a poll on the website to see how many people would be interested in this

Haha, guess what my two bespokes would be? I'm excited about this. VERY excited. I'd do it, I'd find the $$ somewhere, that's for sure.

Ben Do we need a minimum order number for each bag? How much approximately for a Havana with tassel (old school)? Do we need to choose an already produced color or can we request a new color?

^Isn't it awesome that they might do it??
I have a feeling they might not know all the details about it yet, though... We might have to wait and see, this sounds like a project in progress

^ Yeah, it would be great if we only needed a small amout of requests per bag...like 6 or maybe 8 or so. This is sooo potentially fabulous!

Hi Ben or Toni,
I was the VERY lucky winner of an ebay auction for a beautiful Bardot leather jacket (oh my gosh it is *SO* soft). My question is, how can I keep it looking soft and smooshy? I will be very careful not to wear it in the snow or rain, but would it be safe to use leather protection on it, such as Wilson's TLC?

Wink Hi, Everyone!
sorry it's taken me soooooooo long to get over to TPF to say hello, but better late than never! very busy right now designing our fall'09 collection...very cool stuff coming next year!

a few things i can answer tonight:
-YES, it's true...two of your favorite HH styles are being brought back to life for fall'09 (because you asked for them!) and will be better than ever. i'm not sure if i want to ruin the surprise or not, so i think i'll wait a bit longer to spill the beans.
-for spring'09, the havana is coming in a nice warm orange color we call "ginger"...it's really fantastic!
-no yellow for this spring'09, but i'll see what i can do to remedy your color requests :)
-THANK YOU SO MUCH!! seeing such great posts and interest in what we design makes me so so so happy...ben and i really appreciate all the love, support, and constructive criticism. this is the best feedback we could ever hope for.

ttfn,
-toni
