Oh yeah, a coreopsis yellow Havana Hobo would be great!

I have had an e-mail from Ben - as soon as he gives me permission to post it, I will!

Any plans for a bag with the multi-section design of the Tharpe but with a single long over-the-shoulder strap? You'd have to make it in lots of colours, because I'd want multiples :)

I'm concerned that Ben and/or Toni may not get by here any time soon - do you guys think we should ask Swanky to sticky this so they can find it if they do get here?

I don't see the harm in asking...if she thinks it's inappropriate she'll decline..but it sounds like a good idea so they can find the thread right away!!

Hi everybody! Sorry it's taken me so long to log in and say hello, but you can imagine, things have been very hectic. I look forward to reading through this thread and taking a minute to answer some of your questions as best I can. --Ben

Since there are a few questions here, I'm going to start with the oldest, and work my way forward. I'll try to stop in every week if I can to answer any new questions you all might have :-)

Yellow: this is really a question for Toni -- right now she's busy designing Fall 2009 (can you believe it?) and getting ready for an overseas trip. I can tell you we were at the Premiere Vision trade-show in Paris, and saw a lot of inspiration for Spring 2010 colors, and I think you girls might be right on track with the trend prognosticators.

There will not be a black crinkle-patent Havana in the near future, but we do love the crinkle patent. The crinkle-patent is really a true patent leather, but with a nice vintage twist. I personally think it might be too stiff on the Havana, and works better on the more constructed bags, like the Trophy Bag, and the Jinhee. That's versus the crystal zeus "patent," which has a softer handfeel, and a very slight sheen, almost just a gloss on the color.

For now, there will be no new Pilot colors; the Pilot is currently available in a very wide range of colors, and I anticipate the quantities will be available through spring. Of course if they start to sell out... then I imagine we'd think about doing them in different fabrications or putting out a similar style.

Every color is represented in the spring lookbook, and I think it's a pretty nice palette for spring. The new season starts shipping on or about 1/25, it should be up for pre-orders on 1/15 or earlier.

Hi leo, this is the end of the clyde tassel as we all know it. Actually we've been phasing it out for two years... popular little bugger. It was just featured on Refinery 29 along with our new luggage tags. Something tells me we might be getting a new improved tassel next fall...

I don't see the Gaza Hobo or the Ana Frame Bag coming back, but I have seen a lot of the new sketches for Fall 2009, and I don't think anybody will be disappointed by the great new styles. If things come back, they will always be improved on too... I know a lot of things seem perfect, but we are always looking to improve our styles and make them better.

We love the Corcovado too, it's one of my favorites. We will be offering it in different leathers for Fall, but I cannot reveal anything yet.
