Ms Liz, I gotta have a yam Conrad now ... The color is TDF - and this is just my kind of organized bag - I don't know why I've been carefully ignoring it. Probably because I know it's my bag... LOL. Thanks for the great photos!

On another note, my distressed bronze Corcovado and violet crinkle Celina cuff are in the house! Photos will have to wait until tomorrow, unfortunately. First reactions:
- Love the Celina cuff! Great color, cute cuff. Some spots on the patent look a little faded than some other spots, but otherwise ok (I got it as a final sale item).
- Corcovado -- unfortunately, not love at first sight. More coppery and blingy than I thought it would be (although the color on the website is pretty close). There is one panel on the bottom front of the bag that is very distressed (e.g., looks like parts would flake off easily); otherwise, the bag is fine. Great design and detail. Hm... when I look at the bag, I think it looks nice, but maybe I just don't like it on me? I'll post modeling pics tomorrow and you all can let me know what you think!

oh, absolutely....modeling pics are a must.....!

Thanks Leo, DC, and Cciele......I'll do a couple of shots before we head to Key West fFiday. Thanks for the compliments.

Cindy and India you soooo need a yam Conrad. It definately does no photo well on the HH site. I can just imagine this beauty once she gets all broken it. The yam leather is soooo nice.

Dizzy Mizz Lizzy!

Wow, you scored some good stuff, my fRend.
I love your choices; they're all so different. Nice balance.
I'm loving your Conrad the most. It looks so comfy and
perfect for everyday use.
I'll be looking out for your magazine-worthy modeling

Mz. Liz, your photography skills are awesome! You rival Vlad and he's got it wired! I mean it, you show the details so nicely.

cciele, I've been thinking about one of the cuffs for a while, but I'm just afraid I'd look stupid in them (ha, looking stupid didn't stop me from buying the Martine jacket that I need to return today).

blam blam, I've had black bags in the past but I find that I usually pass them over for something else. BPF (that translate to Before Purse Forum), back in the days when I thought buying a really good bag, was buying something like Stone Mountain or Tignanello, I always gravitated to shades of brown, ranging from BE's cappuccino to dark, deep HH bittersweet. I would NEVER buy any other color, no matter what!

I had been on a bowler craze for years, that was one style I would hunt for. I remembering buying a black Stone Mountain bowler in Macy's when we first moved here, heck it wasn't even Macy's then, it was Meier and Frank before they magically turned into Macy's. I wore the bag a lot but was so bothered by the fact it was black.

I am a bit more open minded these days and did buy the Marcel. That was black, just wasn't for me. I thought I could do a smallish bag, but it just didn't fly.

Oh! I have a black Lovcat wallet! I'll have to photograph it.

Ok, here are some photos! It's overcast here today, so it was hard to get good photos. What do you think? Does the bag overwhelm me?

The color IRL is more similar to the last two (more coppery than the first three).

It's a big bag, but that's the style nowadays.
I like it's dual personality: slouchy-casual and
coppery-chic. I think it looks great on you!

india, mlinky, h82bl82, cho, karmen -- thanks for your feedback and compliments! It really is a beautiful bag, and lightweight for its size. I think I just have to get used to carrying a shiny bag; it will pop nicely with darker, solid colored outfits. One drawback though is the leather is not pettable like the saddle or other luscious hides.

Enjoying seeing everyone's prizes from the SS. Ms.Lizardo & cciele, your bags. So far none of mine have arrived... I've paid 2 heavy customs charges with confirmed due delivery dates and UPS tracking claims to have attempted delivery of both. I've been in both days and nobody tried to deliver anything. I'm now having nightmarish visions of my rather sturdy wee postman strutting around his living room brandishing my longed for Tharpe and gripping a goldrush lido between his teeth; as to where the luggage tags could be hanging from... the mind boggles!

Cindy, I'm sorry your jacket didn't work out. The only thing keeping me going right now is the hope that the ebay Marcel I bought from you hasn't reached my postie!!

I'll tell you, my saddle Havana is the SOFTEST bag I have. As for other soft HH leather, the luggage Bardot jacket is super soft and the cobalt shimmer (not sure if that's the correct way to describe it) Pompidou is VERY soft also. My Corcovado is soft but doesn't hold a candle to the the three I've mentioned. Oh, my taupe Gaza hobo is VERY soft also, where my Bittersweet satchel and Prune hobo aren't nearly as soft.
