^My hair lacks style. One of my many 'beauty' drawbacks. Huh, you should see my nails, or maybe not!

Hello HH Hotties...this is my first post on tPF :)
I ordered a grey Sonia online on 11/6; it arrived today (I also had the experience of having my ship date move out one day at a time, then yesterday I got a tracking number). I'm not sure if I got a sample or first-quality merchandise--I went to the sale at the Edge (didn't get anything) and noticed that many of the bags had labels inside for various PR firms; my bag doesn't have this, but has a few scratches and the stitching on the zipper pull on the interior pocket in the back is a tiny bit off. I'm hoping a Magic Rub eraser can remedy the scratches. I'm pretty happy with it so far (raining today, so I won't be taking her out for a spin). The three interior compartments (2 open/magnetic, one zippered) are big enough for work stuff like a binder or my laptop, and the zippered compartment offers the security I need as a subway rider/NYC pedestrian. The three open pockets in the front compartment are of different sizes, and the largest one easily fits my iPhone (which is not the case for some of my other purses). Maybe it's the color settings on my computer, but I was expecting a lighter grey--my purse is more of a battleship grey. I've been considering the cloud luggage tag as an addition to this bag--does anyone know if it is the same battleship grey color? |

arch hottie blamblam - you MUST keep this dress. it's so beautiful on you and really just fits with your whole aesthetic! i mean, come on, this is a no brainer! i agree with gingey in that i'm not sure a belt is the way to go here - but i don't think it needs one on you... if anything maybe a slight, SLIGHT alteration to the top with a tailor if you are not 100% comfy. but i say go for it as is - with the right bra or what not - go with the volume/drapiness, swing around your arms, and make a dramatic statement as you grab for that glass of viognier
![]() i wore mine with a 3/4 sleeve tight black turtleneck yesterday and it was awesome. AWESOME. So despite foolish initial reservations, I have fallen in love with mine officially. The only thing left to fight over is who gets to wear it on which day in DC -- I'll be there for t-giving and will bring it with me for sure

WHAT??? NO PICS of you in your hot number???? WE NEED EYE CANDY! We need to see the "awesome-ness!" Ah, yes indeed - I think she's a keeper...just need to find the right-boobie things AND as I was searching for NuBra stuff (I think this is the route to go) - I also saw those tape things that U can use to hold your "outfit" in place.....has anyone used this stuff? I didn't play "dress-up" today - but will definitely have to do the turtleneck thing..... HEY....are U coming down "this here way" for Gobble-Gobble day or are U just teasing????? thanks for your Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval......our HH style-icon! |

Greetings... this is my first HH and I scored Ibiza Flight in red during the online sample sale. I am in love... the quality of the bag is just awesome. I have been looking for a bag that's big for traveling (I always take lots of stuff with me on the plane) but versatile/chic enough for city sightseeing. I think this is it!!! This Ibiza is coming with me to our next trip.

Wyeth hobo in corcovado is HERE! She is gorgeous, but different than I expected. I had thought she would be larger and heavier. The bag is very light and the leather is much thinner than I had imagined. Not a bad thing, actually it might be good because the thinner leather conforms nicely to the body and I'm sure my back/shoulder will appreciate the lighter load. Just wanted to share my initial reactions, I will try to post pics later!

acschjenn -- That shade of red is luscious on the Havana, and you wear it well!
minutiae -- Welcome to TPF! Sounds like the Sonia is loaded with pockets/compartment, while appearing to be sleek. I love how HH deals with pockets. magda101 -- Awesome score on the Ibiza! I hope to see one in person one day; if I happen to be in the East Bay and see someone with an Ibiza, perhaps it will be you! kikiWoo -- Interesting about the leather weight. I imagined the Wyeth to have some heft to it. Can't wait to see pics! |

So I've found the Joey cuff is actually adjustable. It's still a bit too big even fully closed but it is somewhat bendable.
Bu the way if anybody ordered the Christie Alfie bags ( I got one as a cheap going to the deli messenger bag) there IS INDEED A MILDEW SMELL. It is one of those unmistakable smells that will never go away. I'm keeping mine because it won't matter for the purpose and the price but if you got one of the cute girly ones for going out be warned. |
