No Jandelvis....it was supposed to be shipped today, but it still has the same "due to heavy volume" notation, with the expected ship date the 13th now.

My anthracite Bungalow was purchased on 11-6, expected ship date 11-12, got shipped today with a a delivery date to FL of 11-17.

HH is going to make me suffer in anticipation, I guess. LOL

Oh do tell..you can have fun while waiting for your order.

Better Sephora than the Fresh Direct order that came right after Ipanema did. I had to stop worshipping Purse Perfection and put away the perishables. (Why is it that everything I write either sounds like purse porno or else is loaded with alliteration? Tell me THAT Ms. Liz.)

So there I was, knee deep in frozen spinach and raw chicken when I would have rather been in my living room, running my hands over my new Ipanema.

I went from the sublime to the ridiculous in one swell foop...ARGH!

At least you have something to run your hands over....by the time my order gets here my fingers will be so gnarled from age I'll have to use the Impenema to hold my depends.

Hence...the need for a package from Sephora..ps..Ipanema is way too small to hold Depends...in any event, if your hands are too gnarled from age we are lucky because we can hold Ipanema under our arms rather than by the handle and thus avoid the display of our ancient appendages.

Ms. Liz..trust me, it is so worth the wait.Ipanema is really much prettier IRL.

If this shouldn't be on this thread, based on what I see I'm still trying to figure out how much chat is allowed on here and what should be in the "chat" thread. Someone tell me when the cutoff point is please before Vlad vaporizes me.

Indeed, it is comfy comfy....nice Merino wool - medium weight. I love the color combo and I think it looks "ok" on me - not FAB. Honestly, the cut/style of the dress is usually not so flattering on someone of my stature and built, but I really do like the style. Remember, I'm 4'11" and curvy.

I too got the Medium and think that's best for my "hippy" self. The top portion is loose....I can always wear something underneath, but I am inclined NOT to cuz of the back....LOVE the back strap to the dress! It would be a shame to ruin the look and I think IF you wear something underneath, the dress may not "fall" properly. I'll have to perform this experiment!

I will probably wear this w/o a bra and will need to find some pasty/support type things...any recommendations? It's kinda risque to do so and thus I may not be inclined to wear the dress often...will it just sit in my closet? Or do I just let the boobs fly??!!

So - I don't know.....need your HONEST input, Hotties!
Photos - not so good, but it will do the trick. Tried to show the sleeves...and the cut/shape, etc.
For what it's worth I think you look fantastic in the dress and the idea of turtleneck, belt et al from chodessa is rockin'!

at what Yoko looks like on you..I couldn't imagine what you were talking about based on your post and had visions...until I saw the pics.

BlamX2....I beg you...rock this beauty! please please ....It's all in your head mi amiga...I have a mindset in the same place so please trust me...you look amazing. I couldn't see the pics until today for some reason and if, as they say, the camera adds ten pounds, girlfriend what are you worried about. Especially if the dress is lined, no need for anything major here as far as over-the-shoulder-boulder-holder.

But if you feel the need, I have a vague recollection of seeing a breakthrough totally backless bra made by Maidenform if you are worried about headlights or as my DD put it, "if I run without one I'll have two black eyes".

The image of flying boobs is interesting though. Can yours really do that?

As I said, I'm 5' 1" on a good day, 5' even on a bad day (the back) and have "stuff"...I love what you did with the boots and the opaques. Cho, don't be mad but I would nix the idea of the belt because it would ruin the wedge shape and the pattern wouldn't be displayed, plus the dress might bunch up etc. Unless it sits below the waist and is tied very loosely, perhaps a simple wrap belt, not one with a buckle in soft soft leather. Even then, I'm not sure that it wouldn't emphasize the vertically challenged issue here that I am so familiar with. Again, just thoughts, nothing more.

Yoko might like leggings too if you feel like you can pull it off...I can't but that's where my head is..now you make me sorry that I let my insecurities get the better of me and I passed at taking a shot at this.

HH was doing this to me as well. I e-mailed CS to ask them if they could cancel my order or at least let me know if it would actually ship on the date they'd changed it to and I magically received a tracking number. Wyeth clutch is on it's way!

I was expecting to receive substitutes as well but I lucked out I guess, got all my choices! I bought two of the fragrance samplers. I get one for my daughter each year and this time...I bought another one for a gift...sure wish I could keep it!
