I just opened up a box and OMG...the Mercer Goldrush is damaged and has to go back but Anthracite Bungalow is here..taking my stuff out of Marlowe in Black and seeing how it fits.

I have the Sonia in Anthracite which I received last week, but this is something else, not just because of the amazing price.

Ms. Liz. You will be ecstatic when you open the box and actually see it IRL. She's even better IRL, squishy and soft, the outside cargo pockets allow me to fit my cell phone and my car keys. The shape is stylish yet classic and Anthracite is so not silver. The black, square but rounded-top studs make the whole package, well, studly and a tad edgy. Definitely not your average metallic bag. Thank you whoever designed this beauty. You will rock this bag, Ms. Liz.

One small disatisfaction though, maybe because of my height. I just wish the handle was adjustable because it hits me a bit wrong. I might have to squish it until it conforms. (Not torture, just squish).

Rather than returning it or letting my older DD who is at home get any ideas, I think I will just remove my shoulder blade.

My Yoko is here! Will post pics sometime today or tomorrow I hope. It's super cozy but on me it doesn't fall the way it does on the model -- don't think the size is the problem (i got a medium), since Salina was right about the narrow cut at the hips/opening. blam blam -did you get yours?

Squeeee!!! I cannot wait to see the two of you in your Yoko's.

I keep looking out the window to see if the flag on my mailbox is up, even though I know from the HH website that most of my loot hasn't even shipped yet.

Jan..Some of the dresses were almost a wedge shape with the narrowest part where many women don't wedge shape (is that where the term wedgie comes from BTW??)

Plus...Please if I'm going off thread, PLMK and I'll move it to chat if that's where this belongs.

Those models are freaks of nature..not real people..freaks of nature.

I'm too darn short, for any of HH's clothes, not to mention I have body parts that stick out maybe a bit more than I wish. I do.

But boy, when I saw the clothes at the Sample Sale in Noho, both on the metal hangers as well as worn by one of the lovely young women who worked the sale, (gazelle-like in grace and beauty, and giraffe-like in height I might add) do I wish I didn't have my somewhat ample external lady bits. (Fergie sang about loving hers but in my case it's more that we've come to an understanding.)

Can't wait to see what they look like on the two of you though. I love to live vicariously..(plus l save a bit of moolah that way ).

jandelvis et al....

Yes, Yoko has made an appearance....AND....I'm conflicted....don't know if it's a keeper or not.......

Indeed, it is comfy comfy....nice Merino wool - medium weight. I love the color combo and I think it looks "ok" on me - not FAB. Honestly, the cut/style of the dress is usually not so flattering on someone of my stature and built, but I really do like the style. Remember, I'm 4'11" and curvy.

I too got the Medium and think that's best for my "hippy" self. The top portion is loose....I can always wear something underneath, but I am inclined NOT to cuz of the back....LOVE the back strap to the dress! It would be a shame to ruin the look and I think IF you wear something underneath, the dress may not "fall" properly. I'll have to perform this experiment!

I will probably wear this w/o a bra and will need to find some pasty/support type things...any recommendations? It's kinda risque to do so and thus I may not be inclined to wear the dress often...will it just sit in my closet? Or do I just let the boobs fly??!!

So - I don't know.....need your HONEST input, Hotties!
Photos - not so good, but it will do the trick. Tried to show the sleeves...and the cut/shape, etc.

I love it on you!! Maybe you could have a tailor take some fabric from the top of the shoulders, that would make the chest sit higher. Or you could wear a cami underneath

Im with Leo! You look great in it. Really! I think it goes really well with your style!! I don't have advice on what to do for tailoring or for a bra or no bra, but I think you look great just like that! I hope you wear it a lot! I think the first time you wear it out, you are going to get so many compliments and you wont be worried about it anymore. Now what bag do you think you'll carry with it?

It goes GREAT with your style, the short hair, the high boots, I love the back. Wow! As for a bag, I could see a Clara being carried with that dress.
