Word. I can easily get past the glitchy BS, but this is a terrible let down for ALL fans and a if I was one of the winners I would be completely devastated. So sorry to the three of you.

I completely agree...the folks in charge at HH not only lack business sense, they lack common courtesy. Going further, what are the core values of HH these days? Are recent events now the norm? If so, I still love a lot of their designs but I can't support their business operations or more importantly, their ethics and attitude. I'm definitely not jumping on the happy train until they've taken care of their customers.

This is absolute BS -- I agree with the idea of getting someone else to produce it. I was getting interested in this bag - but even if they started to work with you I wouldn't want it now - it's tainted with bad Karma (and I don't want any money going to HH).

There are SO many things wrong with this.

I'm confused about why they would cancel this outright if it really were about the short-term upheaval of switching manufacturers. I mean, if that were really the case, they could have first emailed to let you guys know that there would be a huge delay...but that your bags would get made eventually once things had settled down. They could have given you the option to wait or take a refund, but at least you would have a choice. More likely they just think it is too big of a hassle to finish up. I hate to hear it, since I was really looking forward to seeing the finished bags!!! The whole DYOB thing DID seem too good to be true, but it was an awesome marketing concept and I really wish they hadn't ended it this way.

I'm glad to see they are going with a different manufacturer - maybe (hopefully) that will solve the majority of their problems... But who knows, at this point.

Yeah, I've been absent too and totally missed this! WTF? You guys put a lot of heart in your DYOBs. I'm really really getting turned off by HH. :( Thuy -- I adore your goldfish charm and would love to see it produced!

My project will carry on!

I talked to Toni and staff and they agreed to finish since mine is nearing completion. It won't be produced for HH. I've been pretty bad with communication so they weren't sure if I was still in it or not. As long as I finish within the next couple weeks, so they can focus on AW 10. Now to send the final revisions over to Joanne
