Now I'm really curious to see the katana knot...this bag is going to be incredible! I wonder how the other DYOBs are going, are any done yet? I know Luciana's had a hiccup, but weren't most of the other winners here on tPF too?

Missty! I haven't dropped by this thread in a long while, had to scroll back a few pages to see your prototype! It's gorgeous!!! I hope you love it!

Not sure if others would agree, but when I first saw it (love it e/w, by the way), the shape reminded me of the LV Ellipse! To me that is a good thing. But yours is waaaaay better! More detailed, nice hardware touches, and a youthful edge! LOVE IT!

aww... thanks for all the sweet comments guys! Sorry I've been so MIA, I've been reading the comments you all left behind but couldn't come up with the words to reply since I've been so sleep deprived. I work the nights but try to live the day life and had like only 2 hours of sleep within the last 41 hours. Thanks BattahZ for the trial katana braiding - can't wait to see it :) I'll be back when I'm more coherent

I am so happy how this turned out! It's even better than I expected!

goldfish charm in the flesh (leather)

in the luxe yam/yam shine combination

If they decide to make this, I hope they make a metallic version as well. >_<

and with the yammie tharpe, guest appearance

the yam of the goldfish seems a tad darker/brown than my yam tharpe. Still good though
