as a plushy lady myself, i can say the most comfortable HH bags I own are the taamasin, the sonia and the havana... sonia has more than one pocket, but honestly, it can be a little trying to get in and out of quickly, for me anyway, because that closure strap flops around everywhere. i LOVE the havana (one strap, but comfortable). the tamasin i can even wear crossbody (I am a size 16-18 but not huge in the chest). and it has two rolled handles as well. it also has a front pocket that is large, but thin, on the outside. I have a bit of trouble with the trophy if I am wearing anything thicker than a regular shirt. (jackets, coats, thick sweaters and I cant wear it on my shoulder comfortably). the sao paulo is not bad either. slips more than the havana, but is a nice size. internet pics dont show the size verywell, but i took some and posted them to the HH on vacation thread.

My first thought was conrad too... The adjustable strap makes it a great convertible bag.

My other thoughts were Athena Tote or Athena Sac

Or even tho it's not zipper closure what about the Yves.. I looks like it has a great handle drop and lots of space with outer pockets.

RMC - the trouble with the trophy strap is that if you are plushy AND live in a climate that requires a heavy winter coat - I don't think it would work as well. What about the Newman - did we talk about that???

If the Conrad is still up on the sale page, it is a pretty sweet deal right now. I got one for my mom on Friday for $91 with the HHFALLTHANKS code and a groupon. (not including shipping)

Don't know if you are still looking but I thought I'd add my two cents. I'm really short 5 ft and chunky and usually wear an xl or xxl on top. I have a Tharpe and just got a Havana. I just tried on the Havana and the Tharpe is much better at staying on my shoulder.

I think the drop on both these might be a little short compared to what you want. With the Tharpe my elbow comes down a few inches below the top. With the Havana empty it's the same though as it pouches out It should get wider and lower. I think also being able to set the two straps on top of each other helps keeps the tharpe put too. It really feels like its not going anywhere. It does feel like the strap setup for the Havana requires flat shoulders and a good tapering in at the waist to sit properly.
