Pigalle, that's how I felt about my Ramone in ruby, too. It was just a little too much. I sent mine back, am awaiting refund. Still want a Ramone or 2-- I think I can pull it off in a neutral. I'll save the colors for the Celina.

Now I'm kind of glad I didn't get the Ruby one lol. I must say though that I did feel the same way about my other Ramones, but got used to them in time. Now I feel weird if I don't have that weight on my left wrist (still getting used to the bling factor with a couple of them). I'd say try it for a couple of days and see if you get used to it...jmo.

I'm getting inspired by pics of Kate Lanphear, that woman knows how to rock the minimalist black/white/grey wardrobe plus great cuffs!

There's another pic around of her with an armful, I'll try to find it...

Fafnir..I'm laughing..OK..I'm not as gorgeous as that creature..but that outfit on the right is similar to my outfit today...black sleevess dress (Express from the summer) 3/4 length white T shirt (steward + brown I can only wear organic cotton or modal when fibro is acting up)...black HH Skinny Belt in Black Patent...black vintage flamenco heeled Maude Frizon T straps, my black Tharpe...and Black Ramone with two tone studs and Bronze Anaconda Ramone just for a bit of flash.

Funny about the Ruby Ramone..it's the one Ramone that I keep putting back when I see it IRL..and purging out of my cart. Not sure why.

Ramones were my first cuff love...and the Celine paled besides the ones I owned. I gifted my DDs with a VCP Celine a piece and a brown whipsnake Joey...older DD got a Blueberry Ramone for her BD..younger DD wants my Black Ramone that is worn and gorgeously showing the bronze under metal..so I will be giving it to her and getting myself a new Ramone two toned that needs to be broken in.

I love my Celines now..a bit less obviously punky R&R..but my heart still belongs to Ramone...

FWIW..If you all haven't aleady discovered, I love to stack 'em but no more than three at a time. (and yes...I do have other jewelry..but for every day wear, these are perfect..plus my students like 'em too).

ah pigalle74,
thank goodness we all don't love the same things......than we would really be duking it out..LOL!
give it a shot...wear it for a bit and IF it doesn't feel right, than send it back! Gots to be happy.
NOW.....you'll be shocked when I say that I normally sport two Ramones, stacked together and I find that it isn't heavy at all...I actually find the Celinas to be too lightweight.

ALSO to all.....
BE ADVISED THAT THE RUBY AND THE GREY RAMONES HAVE A DIFFERENT STUD PATTERN THAN THE OTHER RAMONES.......and I think this may contribute to the fact that they may be a bit heavier than other Ramones - but insignificant weight IMO.

Grey as in grey with grey studs, Blam? That's the one I got last night...now I'm curious.

I also forgot to mention that my cuff virginity was lost to a Winter White Ramone, which is IMO quite a bit lighter than my others...so that may have helped me get used to it. But anyway definitely give them a shot, and if you still don't like them, at least you'll know you tried!

Carlie, where did you find grey w/grey studs? Just curious (and a little jealous!) I didn't even know there was one!

YES! Stacked cuffs rock! I may be slow to change, but I'm so happy I took the cuffed route (and soooo bummed that I didn't snap up more during the cuff flash sale!)....

Thanks for the pics fafnir! Love it!

I know what y'all mean about the weight: I feel naked if my wrists aren't weighted down. Broke myself in on very heavy silver Navajo cuffs a la Milicent Rogers. I once had a stranger compliment me on my 'bracelet'. I said, 'thanks, its actually FIVE different bracelets'. I swear she gave me the stink eye! This was a few years ago...

I love them too, but can't quite see paying that. Its not like I haven't spent that on a cuff before, but it was an OOAK and not made of leather.

Yes, grey w/grey studs....AND take a look see at your white one too. What version is it????

Now, for your visual pleasure...look at the studs on the Ruby....and compare to the others.......

three stud sizes compared to two for the other versions:
