I am this close to calling the stores listed on the HH site to see if anyone has celinas left. I'm so sad I just have the one.

Yeah - what time is that parade?? - I have a meeting at Hachette on Broadway at 3pm and a flight at JFK at 6:30pm which I'm so probably not going to make which means I'm going to be finding another hotel for the night and flying home on Sat - why does nothing fly from JFK to the Bay Area after 6:30pm?? Yes, the stores are both open on Sat I believe and the Manhattan store has all the new cuffs plus 3 Ramones (had four - I bought the grey one tonight

-- black with gold studs, BCP with gold studs and I think the other one was Ruby. If I get stuck here tomorrow nite maybe I'll figure out how to get to Brooklyn and find that store too

I used that black HHFallThanks card and a Groupon with no problem at all at the Manhattan store a few hours ago!

Now I'm jelly of you Suzzeee, but I shouldn't be b/c I did snag a BA. Grey is near the top of my list though. So the store had some of the other ramones that were supposed to make it into fall production? Or were those just old combos? Glad you found yourself a treat!

The only ramone currently for sale on the website that I don't have is the ruby. I keep telling myself not to get it b/c I'm not a 'red' person; has to do w/ having red hair. But I've passed up other ramones before I realized that I HAD to have them. I almost caved when Blammy told her election/red ramone story.

Cho, hope you and Gingey make it to the store! Buy them out!!!

Maegrace, I say go for it! When I was first getting into HH I realized (too late) that I wanted the Beatrice with the Harlequin print and just spent a whole day clicking on the little balloons on their "stores" page. Not all of them were still selling HH (it hasn't been updated in a while) but I got lots of stores who did, who didn't have online stores, and who were happy to walk me through what HH stock they had (often on sale). I didn't find the Black/Harlequin Bea but did find the red one at about 40% off...

true... i also did a search looking for pilots a ways back, and i emailed the stores that had email addy's and looked like real stores. most didn't carry HH any more, but some did have some on clearance ... unfortunately, nothing i was looking for.

I hadn't ever looked at the "stores" page but that's a great idea, can't hurt and we have unlimited long-distance which I never use.

I called one store on the HH website ~ Dora Rae in Atlanta and......I am the owner of a brand new 1/2 price RED Conrad!

I didn't even know they made one in that color! I made sure it's not the ginger, she said it's a gorgeous red and for some reason it just didn't sell so it was marked down to half price.

I first asked about cuffs ... she only has one Blueberry Celine .... BUT!!! She has quite a few Ramones including one in Purple Patent with gun metal studs for $90.00. I told her I was posting it here and I'd be very surprised if someone didn't call her to buy it.

She also has tan with gold studs, gray w/ gray studs, red w/ brass studs all for $88.00, and a tan Joey w/ black studs for $70.

Her name is Rachel and she could not have been nicer or more helpful as she scurried around the store looking for names, colors, and prices for me. she even pulled up the HH website to make sure of names.

Rats! The DH is home so no more buying for me right now

It's "Larie" at Clutch Bend, OR... she's a doll and always offers an HH discount, but she's pretty steamed that they undercut their merchants even before stuff hits the stores (sales before drop dates, etc.) So she's wonderful with HHHotties but my guess is that after this order, she might not be carrying HH.

Suzanne, your new Ruby Conrad MIGHT have the Geo print lining... anyone remember? Congrats!! Great score!

And can I just be a beeeyatch and remind everyone it's CelinA, not Celine? (I keep hearing "Celine Dion" whenever anyone says it...

i can understand stores not being happy with HH and pricing, the nice woman at Dora Rae's said she's getting into more designers including Treesje and RM although she didn't specifically say why.

ETA ~ you're right about Celina with an "A" I bet I sound just like some of your students don't I??
